During that time, basketball addicts will use any and everything to help ease their hoops anxiety. While basketball movies are popular year-round, the off-season tends to be when hoops films are most watched.

While there are plenty of other basketball movies that could have made this list, these are the ones we felt belonged in the top 20. Whether you agree or disagree with the rankings, these films are still excellent bodies of work that should be passed down through generations.
