Happy New Year. We know some of you are labeling 2019 as 20-grind-teen, and that's cool. More power to you and your grind. But if you ever need a break, we've got you covered with these 10 gems that will all be added to Netflix by the end of the month.

1. Tidying Up With Marie Kondo

Available: Starting Jan. 1 // Recommended by Brian Anthony Hernandez

⌚When to watch it: When you need to spark joy in your messy life.

Why watch it: New year, new you, right? Of course. So let tidying expert Marie Kondo inspire you to de-clutter your home and subsequently your mind in this Netflix Original series that has already sparked many “spark joy” memes and mess memes. Magic Marie and her KonMari method will have you thanking us for this recommendation faster than she kneels on the floor of a new client’s home to thank it for its protection and hopeful cooperation.

2. FYRE: The Greatest Party That Never Happened

Available: Starting Jan. 18 // Recommended by Trey Taylor

⌚️When to watch it: When you’re thinking about dropping $400 on Coachella tickets.

Why watch it: There is no reason why not to watch this hellscape of a music festival unfold. The Ja Rule-approved fest was doomed from the first influencer footprint landing on the fake Pablo Escobar beach the founder purchased to film the festival’s promo commercial. From the major lack of organization to the viral styrofoam sandwich that took down the festival on Twitter, it’s a case study in how not to do business. Take the rare opportunity to go behind the scenes of the biggest fail this side of the millennium.

3. The Assassination of Gianni Versace

Available: Starting Jan. 17 // Recommended by Brian Anthony Hernandez

⌚️When to watch it: When you've got to catch up on Golden Globe-winning shows.

Why watch it: Fresh off Golden Globe wins for Best Miniseries and Best Actor for Darren Criss’s stunning portrayal of Italian fashion designer Gianni Versace’s killer Andrew Cunanan, this is the must-watch second installment in FX’s American Crime Story series. Criss’s award-winning take is elevated by an all-star cast: Édgar Ramírez embodies the titular role, Penélope Cruz pulls off Donatella Versace and Ricky Martin surprises as Gianni’s love interest Antonio D'Amico.

4. The Incredibles 2

Available: Starting Jan. 30 // Recommended by Brian Anthony Hernandez

⌚️When to watch it: When you’re craving good ol’ Edna Mode shade.

Why watch it: Disney•Pixar’s long-awaited sequel to 2004's Incredibles became the fastest animated film to hit $1 billion at the global box office (47 days) upon its release in 2018, beating previous record holder Frozen. Aside from being one of only three dozen films to enter the exclusive billion-dollar club, Incredibles 2 was just damn entertaining, with Elastigirl taking the lead on secret superhero missions while her hubby, Mr. Incredible, struggled at his stay-at-home duties.

5. Indiana Jones franchise

Available: Starting Jan. 1 // Recommended by Brian Anthony Hernandez

⌚️When to watch it: When you're preparing for Indiana Jones 5 dropping in 2021.

Why watch it: For the first time ever, Netflix is streaming the Indiana Jones franchise ahead of the film series’ fifth release in 2021. Yup, you can get your Harrison Ford fix by re-watching 1981’s Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark, 1984’s Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, 1989’s Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade and 2008’s Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.

6. Sex Education

Available: Starting Jan. 11 // Recommended by Trey Taylor

⌚️When to watch it: When you’re still confused about how to put on the condom.

Why watch it: Ever get caught masturbating? By your mom? That’s sort of the premise of this hilarious series starring Asa Butterfield as Otis, a virgin whose mom is a sex therapist more than willing to dole out un-asked-for advice. Otis turns it to his advantage when he teams up with outsider Maeve to start up a school sex-therapy clinic.

7. Pulp Fiction

Available: Starting Jan. 1 // Recommended by Brian Anthony Hernandez

⌚️When to watch it: When you’re curious when my pie addiction started (you’re not).

Why watch it: “Any time of the day is a good time for pie,” Fabienne says sweetly in the 1994 crime flick Pulp Fiction. I was an impressionable 8-year-old when I heard her rattle off that line, and you can trace back my obsession to pies of all flavors to that moment. On a more important note, this Quentin Tarantino classic is regarded as his best work and one of cinema’s must-see films, with The Library of Congress adding it to its National Film Registry for its historic significance and cultural impact.

8. Ant-Man and the Wasp

Available: Starting Jan. 29 // Recommended by Brian Anthony Hernandez

⌚️When to watch it: When you're hyped up on Ant-Man/Avengers theories.

Why watch it: The Paul Rudd and Evangeline Lilly-led sequel to Ant-Man is the 20th release in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and the first MCU film to include a female character in the title. And while the characters shrink to their namesakes, the humor grows throughout the lighthearted movie for guaranteed super-sized laughs.

9. Across the Universe

Available: Starting Jan. 1 // Recommended by Brian Anthony Hernandez

⌚️When to watch it: When the blackbird (insomnia) is singing in the dead of night.

Why watch it: Propelled by more than two dozen songs from The Beatles, this ambitious musical drama continued the long list of films inspired by The Fab Four. This one takes us across the universe of war and romance through the lens of angsty teens in the 1960s.

10. I Know What You Did Last Summer

Available: Starting Jan. 1 // Recommended by Brian Anthony Hernandez

⌚️When to watch it: When the screams in your head aren't enough.

Why watch it: This 1997 hit slasher film, which followed the success of Scream from the previous year, gave us the inspiration to hit the gym in our younger years (thanks to Ryan Phillippe's pre-death locker room scene) but also the irrational fear of ever leaving the comfort of the shower. Meat hook nightmares for decades!
