When Hulu first stepped out onto the streaming scene, it was more focused on television shows than movies, with Netflix largely dominating the movie side of things. As the years progressed and as Netflix shifted from the mail to the internet, Hulu made some changes, as well, as it has completely transformed its film section.
Just as the service now hosts a wide range of Hulu original shows, documentaries, and films, it's also formed quite the formidable lineup of movies. Not only does it have Oscar contenders like Spencer and Nightmare Alley, but it also has throwback classics like the iconic pairing of Shrek and Shrek 2. These 50 (!) films on Hulu are definitely worthy of viewing, spanning dramedies, coming-of-ages, documentaries, and psychological thrillers.
