Ashton Kutcher made a name for himself playing the goofy hunk Kelso on That 70's Show, but ask anyone in Silicon Valley and they'll tell you that the creator of Punk'd is a VC genius.

It was actually 50 Cent who inspired Kutcher to get into the equity game. When he found out that the rapper had taken a stake in Glaceau in exchange for becoming the face of Vitamin Water, Kutcher says he was ready to move on to something bigger than traditional endorsement deals.

He also saw an opportunity to help people cut through the immense amount of negative news that populates all of our social media feeds every day. Kutcher helped found A Plus, a site dedicated to publishing positive news stories and help promote the power of positive thinking.

Kutcher partnered with Madonna manager Guy Oseary and billionaire Ron Burkle to form Sound Ventures. The firm has turned $30 million into $250 million thanks to ace investments in Airbnb, Warby Parker and Spotify. His $500,000 investment in Uber is now worth 100x time that amount.

Dude! That's a lot of cash.
