As usual, we’re back at it with our weekly roundup of viral TikTok challenges, and this edition is a good mixture of dancing, glo-up challenges, and trends that require you to tap into your creativity. With spring season rapidly approaching, and daylight savings meaning longer brighter days, you’ll even be able to take some of these challenges outdoors if you wish. Here is a look at what was poppin on TikTok this week.

This trend is a little bit different from what we are used to on TikTok. There is no set ‘challenge’ associated with this song—you can literally do anything you want. Some TikTokers have made videos mouthing the lyrics in their rooms, and others have made cooking videos using the track to add some ‘flavor’ to their videos. How you go about it is up to you. Just make it colorful!

If you are a ‘younger’ millennial who was heavily into the pop/rock scene in the 2000s, then this song is a major throwback to a much simpler time in our lives. Once again Gen Z has revived a long-lost classic giving us major nostalgic vibes, and we’re for it. For this challenge, TikTok creators are posting about their partners going ‘Instagram official’ with the "take a look at my girlfriend" line in the song. So if you haven't made your relationship ‘IG public’ yet, then this could be a fun way to do so.

Who doesn’t love a good glow-up challenge? This trend is for all of the cosplay lovers that enjoy recreating looks based on their favorite characters. Nothing too serious with this one—all you have to do is document the process of putting together your look through a TikTok video by doing a before and after. The overall vibe of ‘Slumber Party’ suits this challenge perfectly, and could be cool for cosplayers itching to display their work.

You’re going to need your running shoes for this one. Set to the tune of the 2020 single ‘Track Star’ by Mooski, TikTokers are putting their sprinting skills to the test, running to the lyrics ‘she's a runner she's a track star.’ It’s probably been a while since most of us have hit the track, so make sure you stretch and drink a lot of water beforehand.
