Everything We Know About Pete Davidson's New Show "BUPKIS": Cast, Release Date and More

Pete Davidson’s new show BUPKIS officially has a premiere date set and a trailer to watch.

BUPKIS, which is written and produced by Davidson himself, is set to hit your television screens and mobile devices on May 4th, 2023. That means you can officially mark the date down in your calendars. Not only will you get to see the talents of Davidson’s writing and producing through the series, you’ll also be able see his comedic chops once more as the former SNL and The King of Staten Island star will be taking us on a heightened fictionalized journey of his real life.

The series will combine grounded storytelling with absurd elements from the unfiltered and completely original worldview for which Pete is well known, and has few more heavy hitters on its cast list including the legendary Joe Pesci (Goodfellas, The Irishman) who portrays Davidson’s grandfather on the series, and Edie Falco (Nurse Jackie, The Sopranos) who will be taking on the role of Davidson’s mother.

BUPKIS combines grounded storytelling with absurd elements from the unfiltered and completely original worldview for which Pete is well known. Now you already know that Davidson had to bring along some of his friends for the BUPKIS ride as well, and the list is superb with names such as: Charlie Day, Brad Garrett, Simon Rex, Ray Romano, and Chase Sui Wonders set to make guest appearances on the show.

Oh, and Kenan Thompson is set to make a guest appearance as well. Additionally, BUPKIS is executive produced by Judah Miller whose previous film credits include King of the Hill, American Dad!, and The Tracy Morgan Show. 

Raise your hand if you are ready to watch BUPKIS this summer. The show is definitely on our watchlist, and keeping in line with a few of our previous television and movie reviews, the style looks to be very interesting as well (we’ll be sure to do a follow up once the show premieres).
