According to studies from Avert, roughly 20 million people are living with HIV/AIDS in easternmost and southern Africa. In 2017, there were about 800,000 new victims, while 380,000 people had passed away due to the disease.

Many organizations are fighting to end this terrible epidemic, and (RED) is one of them.

Fan-favorite gourmet hot sauce company Truff is teaming up with (RED) to release an exclusive, brand-new Hotter Sauce. Proceeds from the sales of this new sauce will help raise money to supply medication to fight the HIV/AIDS epidemic in sub-Saharan Africa.

As for the Hotter Sauce, the usual tongue-burning experience gets even hotter, as Truff added a jalapeño-rich chili blend for the heat-seeking flavor lover in you. Superstar chef Eddie Huang—known for his hit show, Huang’s World—will showcase Hotter Sauce on the leading youth culture e-commerce and content platform, NTWRK.

The episode will premiere on June 19 at 6 p.m. PST/9 p.m. EST.

So far, $50,000 in donations has been contributed by the two programs to help get a head start on reaching their goal. That’s the equivalent of roughly 250,000 days of life-saving HIV/AIDS medication.

It’s a great start for such a noble cause, so be sure to do your part and enjoy some hot sauce while you’re at it.
