Alliance of American Football

On February 9, the Alliance of American Football, or AAF, kicked off its inaugural season and the players looked bomb. Much-loved athletic brand Starter partnered with GIII Sports to provide official on-field apparel and game-day uniforms for all eight AAF teams. Luckily for you, the entire collection is available to cop.

The replica jerseys, gear and satin varsity jackets (our personal favorite pieces, highlighted here) are available on AAF.com and at your local Dick's Sporting Goods.

Here is a sneak peek at the eight teams' new varsity jackets, retailing for $130, and insight into the inspiration behind their logos.

San Antonio Commanders

Perhaps the most striking of the bunch, the design for the San Antonio Commanders uses a cherry red to make the sword pop. The hues call on the official logo of the city and Texas' state flag, both a similar maroon. We predict fans will love this one.

Arizona Hotshots

The Arizona Hotshots logo is very fireman-esque. Paying homage to wildland firefighters, aka "hotshot crews," the design features red flames and crossed yellow axes called Pulaskis, cutting and digging tools used by firefighters. We're here for it.
