In 24 Hours, PUMA Shakes Up Their Basketball Strategy

After not signing an NBA hooper since Vince Carter in 1998, PUMA has made some headlines around the NBA. On June 14, Marvin Bagley III inked the largest rookie shoe deal with PUMA since Kevin Durant with Nike in 2007. Then, the German athletic wear company followed it up by adding DeAndre Ayton and Zhaire Smith to its roster, and officially re-launching PUMA Basketball with Jay-Z as president.

With a loaded 2018 NBA Draft Class, Jay-Z at the helm, and prior signings of Rihanna, The Weeknd, and Selena Gomez, let's see if PUMA can compete with the other major sneaker brands.
