The “New Beginnings Pack” is a sneakerhead’s dream. Nostalgia and hype come together, as the pack includes both the Nike Air Ship and the Air Jordan 1 in its original 1985 form. The Air Ship was the predecessor to the inaugural pair of the Jordan signature shoe line. The Air Ship is more minimal in its design with a predominately white upper, red collar and red outsole. In contrast, the Air Jordan 1 Retro ‘85 takes advantage of the silhouette’s color blocking with more of that signature Chicago red found across the entirety of the shoe. Whether you’re a sneaker historian or an overall fan of the Jordan 1 and its history, the “New Beginnings” pack is an absolute must-have.

Virgil Abloh is taking over the world of sneakers again with the Air Jordan 5 as his canvas. The collaborative pair appears to take the Air Jordan 5 “Metallic” and applies Abloh’s signature deconstructive style. With an intentionally yellowed outsole and a weather upper, the beauty of the pair is all in the details. The translucent layering on the upper lets one appreciate the Nike Air branding and the “23” on the side panel like never before.

The Air Jordan 3 is making a memorable appearance in the city of Chicago once again. During the 1988 slam dunk contest, Michael Jordan proved his Airness by famously soaring from the free-throw line in the Air Jordan 3. In 2018, a commemorative pair celebrating the 30 year anniversary of the moment dropped. As ASW returns to Chicago for the first time since 1988, Jordan Brand is celebrating MJ with a Chicago Bulls-esque AJ3. Donned in a fire-red upper and that signature elephant print found bordering the shoe, this Air Jordan 3 put on for the Windy City in all the right ways. Aside from the OG Nike Air Branding, Jordan Brand is releasing an exclusive set of pairs with “Nike CHI” on the heel to further commemorate Jordan and his legacy.
