Josh Barnett of 19nine turned his passion for college basketball into a thriving (and dope as hell) retro clothing business—all while working as a middle school social studies teacher.


The company now sells officially licensed retro T-shirts and basketball shorts for huge ​hoop schools like Butler, Purdue, Indiana, Memphis, Xavier and Wake Forest, taking throwback designs and making them look and feel modern “so you won’t look like Bird and Magic in 1979.”
