Remedy Mike, Manager of MadeInTYO, Talks Music And Entrepreneurship

This week’s Monday to Monday episode hosted by ONE37pm’s Mike Boyd,features Remedy Mike, manager of MadeinTYO, 24 Hours, and a roster of developing artists that we’ll be introduced to in the near future. Having a manager is an essential step to elevating your career to the next level, and through the help of Mike, MadeinTyo has been able to expand upon his popularity and commercial success, now boasting over one million followers on Instagram.

In addition to his management career, Mike has also ventured into the world of entrepreneurship, starting Akeru & Co, a home decor service that specializes in hand-crafted products. Boyd and Mike sat down for a 20-minute conversation that covered Mike’s entrepreneurial path, and of course, music. Below is a snippet of their interview.

Boyd: I want to talk to you about management. You mentioned being on tour with TYO, who do you work with as far as artists go?

Mike: Currently I’m working with MadeinTYO, 24 Hours, Tiggy who is a producer that has worked with Kehlani, 21 Savage, and was a co-producer for ‘GREECE’ with DJ Khaled and Drake, and a bunch of developing acts right now that will be releasing stuff soon. Also on the side I’ve been working with Cuco in the publishing space, he is going to be developing his own publishing company called Fantasy Company.  So I’ll be working on the A&R side of that for upcoming producers and writers which has been exciting.
