Miami-born, Atlanta-raised rapper Yak Gotti is a rising star within the YSL Records roster. After releasing "Take It To Trial" with Young Thug and Gunna, he began to develop a loyal fanbase. Since the track's release in December 2020, it has received over thirty million streams on Spotify and over five million views on the music video. Yak stands out for his entertaining lyrics, hard-hitting production, and accompanying collaborations within the YSL team.

Another exceptional collaboration was with Gunna on "WUNNA FLOW." The track was featured in Gunna's highly anticipated album Wunna (Deluxe), released in July 2020. The song features Yak and Gunna playing off each other with their commendatory flows. The song quickly gained traction, gaining nearly five million views on the music video alone. The beat features a hypnotic rhythm that is ideally in tone with their phonetics. Comments throughout the video are littered with fans praising the song as a "vibe" and noting Yak's performance on the music. Be sure to tune in below.

Additionally, on Slime Language 2, Yak Gotti was featured on "Slatty," "Explosion," and "GFU." In "Slatty" with Young Thug, Gunna, and Lil Duke, Yak provides a unique flow that makes his feature notable. One of the top comments on this track mentions that Yak "did not disappoint." Additionally, one responded that he "spazzed" on the track. Yak asserts his dominance in his verse with lyrics such as "Bet they gon' know when the slime in the building Hot as iron, I mean, hot like the skillet." This track has been closing in on ten million streams on Spotify since its release, be sure to check it out if you haven't heard it already.

In the song "Explosion" with Gunna and FN DaDealer, Yak Gotti builds off Gunna's chorus on the first verse. In the song, Yak delivers some clever rhymes with lyrics such as "Pull that press down, he gets squeezed like Capri-Sun. Yeah, street sweeper sweepin', I sweep for no reason." One attribute that makes Yak stand out is his lockjaw flow on this track, where his Southern ties are shown within his delivery. Yung Kayo and Sheck Wes appear on "GFU," where Yak immediately sets the tone for the track with a tough verse.

Additionally, Sheck Wes and Kayo both carry their verses, creating a perfect accumulation of chaos in the best way possible. Subjectively, this is one of the hardest and underrated songs on Slime Language 2. Be sure to tune in to this blunt track below.

In 2020, Yak released his debut album with YSL Records entitled Gotti Outta Here. The fourteen-track project includes features from Gunna, Lil Duke, Lil Keed, Lil Gotit, to name a few. Standout track "All Day" with Lil Keed and Lil Gotit features a heavy, resonating 808 that takes the forefront of the way. Yak's theme that is presented, which is found throughout most of the album, is his self-confidence and belief in himself. In the song, Gotti preaches, "I'm a big gangster, drip out with etiquette. Dead presidents, know-how that we stackin', we keep 'em, we pray that we might as well bury 'em. Maniac Gotti, I'm fresh out the blender, I jump out the system, I feel like a barbarian." Yak's self-awareness of money, his attitude, and his image are all attributes that make Yak's music notable. Be sure to tune into the album below if you haven't yet!
