ONE37pm's 1/1 Artist Spotlight is a series that focuses on giving love to 1 of 1 NFT Artists. Whether they're from the traditional art world or just got started in art through web3, we want to highlight and help you get to know those who are up and coming.

A 1/1 NFT is a unique, one-of-a-kind digital collectible where no other exists other than the piece itself.  Each 1/1 collection has a limited amount of editions available, with the number dictated by the artist. We hope to introduce you to talented and incredible people in the NFT space and the reasons they love doing what they do.

Dustn is a digital collagist and artist that produces unique pieces that resonate deeply with his collectors. Dustn also communicates through phrases as well as stealthily placed messages to his community.

He shares thoughts such as "learn to love yourself," as well as names of fellow friends and artists hidden in the artwork.

In the corner of his piece, "I Finally Feel Like Me," he writes names of other 1/1 artists that he feels supported by with the note, "We making history, friends"

Those who observe his work for the first time will want to revisit and decode his collages again and again.

ONE37pm: How has your artist journey changed since joining NFTs? How did you start?

My artist journey changed almost entirely and ever since joining NFTs, it was like my future was rewritten. I have a shot at really being able to become a full-time artist and really live my dream. I had started doing NFTs really just through a random suggestion on Twitter which had then fluctuated into one of my good friends beginning to help me out with getting started and I was able to take off ever since then.

ONE37pm: Do you prefer physical or digital art?

I can't decide just yet as I have never done anything physically before but I've always wanted to try to do it, I feel like it would be a whole new experience and I can't wait until I can get the resources to try it out. Everything being digital for now is a blessing for me, being able to do what I do and stay comfortable and not make any mistakes makes me feel very safe and secure whenever I work on pieces.

ONE37pm: How would you describe your art style?

Not sure if I can really describe my "style", I just make whatever I enjoy creating but in its core, it's collage work. But if I were to describe what I specifically do and what I view it as, is that I create worlds within my pieces that can resonate with those who may be going through an assortment of different emotions, positive or negative.

ONE37pm: What is your favorite piece?

I don't have a specific favorite piece in general, yet whatever I am feeling at certain point in time, it could alternate which piece I feel more. Yet, speaking in general, my favorite piece is always the new one I make even if it is or isn't experimental as I created a whole new way to communicate a specific emotion through that image.

ONE37pm: What do you hope to accomplish in the next year?

No primary goals or anything like followers or sales, they don't matter to me as much now compared to how they will in the future. But, if I were to pick a possible achievement I would like to get in the next year, is to just have my art resonate with more people and to really have those who appreciate art, appreciate my art. That as well as improving my own craft for my own personal reasons.

ONE37pm: When do you feel most inspired to create?

Whenever I can, if I'm able to work on a piece, I am more than likely going to work on a piece or at the very least reflect on how I've felt in the past days to be able to bring a personal meaning to the next one that I would create.

ONE37pm: Who are 3 artists you have your eyes on at the moment?

The homies Ozbren, Soulosaint, and LordNeutron - honestly some of the nicest people I've met who are always constantly improving.
