ONE37pm's 1/1 Artist Spotlight is a series that focuses on giving love to 1 of 1 NFT Artists. Whether they're from the traditional art world or just got started in art through web3, we want to highlight and help you get to know those who are up and coming.

A 1/1 NFT is a unique, one-of-a-kind digital collectible where no other exists other than the piece itself.  Each 1/1 collection has a limited amount of editions available, with the number dictated by the artist. We hope to introduce you to talented and incredible people in the NFT space and the reasons they love doing what they do.

Karisma, also known as @stopstare on Twitter, is a rising NFT artist known best for the vibrant energy in art. He is best known for his open expression of emotions: romanticism, loneliness, rage, and more in his creative process.

Karisma recently dropped its third and final volume of his collection, 'We Bleed Every Color' on August 16. 'We Bleed Every Color' is 3 parts. Vol 1 and Vol 2 dropped earlier this year.

You can view more of Karisma's work on Super Rare and Nifty Gateway.

ONE37pm: How has your artist journey changed since joining NFTs? How did you start?

Karisma: I’ll try not to be too verbose; I started by making thumbnails for Italian YouTubers. I got bored shortly after and deleted Photoshop. After a few *sad* events and being ignored by family and “friends", I needed to find a way to talk about it without opening my mouth. Started creating for myself, and I still practice my dedication.

ONE37pm: Do you prefer physical or digital art?

Karisma: It truly depends. I recently started working on traditional swell, because I wasn’t able to express certain feelings by sitting on a chair with my Wacom tablet on my legs. I needed to move my body, my arms, and get my hands dirt. I needed to feel tired in front of a piece and keep creating. Creating digital is beautiful too - There’s nothing comparable to a cold night creating in your room, with lights off and just some nice music on your headphones.

ONE37pm: What is your favorite piece?

Karisma: I have severals. Gonna say these "it's your turn to cry," and "you won't be leaving my arms," because they better reflect my definition of “emancipation of the mind."

ONE37pm: What do you hope to accomplish in the next year?

Karisma: My life changed quick, and I found myself in a completely different position and situation. Both physically and mentally. The goal is to travel more. I want to keep feeding my brain with the beauties of this world.
