Have you watched Swarm yet? If not, what are you waiting for?! A psychological horror thriller series that premiered on March 17th via Amazon Prime, Swarm is about a young woman whose obsession with a fictional Beyoncé-inspired R&B singer named Ni’jah takes a dark and dangerous turn as the disturbing side of stan culture is explored. Created by Donald Glover and Janine Nabers, Swarm stars Dominique Fishback as Dre as we get a look into her life and fandom, and features tons of other notable and incredibly talented names including Chloe Bailey, Damson Idris, Paris Jackson, and Billie Eilish (in her acting debut) who all make appearances in the series.

And there’s one scene in particular that has had everybody in awe.

Without giving too much away for those who haven’t made it through the series yet, Dre basically kills anybody that has anything to say about Ni’jah, and this includes people that she has close relationships with. Nobody is spared from Dre, and as she casually makes her way through her killing spree she encounters a young White woman named Eva (Eilish) who saves from a racist Tennessee Cop. Eva is essentially the leader of a cult (which is loosely based on some notable cults who have been in the news for not so good reasons like NXIVM), but before Eva’s ulterior and sinister motives are revealed, she and Dre have a moment.

This folks is the moment.

It’s also certainly hard to believe that Eilish’s performance was one of a rookie as there was absolutely nothing rookie about it. There are so many theories and questions surrounding the plot and ending of Swarm including whether or not there’s a way for this to get turned into a season two.

We certainly hope so.
