Ranking the 'House of the Dragon' Characters by How Much They Look Like Phoebe Bridgers

Aside from the fact that he's a legit middle-aged man with a beard, King Viserys Targaryen (Paddy Considine) is definitely giving off some Phoebe Bridgers vibes, mostly in the coloring and length of his hair. However, I will say that Viserys has proven to be a little more graceful than Bridgers at smashing an axe or two...

With all the skeletons and ghosts sprinkled throughout Phoebe Bridgers' albums and outfits, she definitely has a bit of a darker side to her, and as we know fairly well by now, so does Daemon Targaryen (Matt Smith). Sure, Bridgers isn't murdering hordes of people in the Stepstones, but both have a quiet, simmering darkness and depth just below the surface.

Convince me that this isn't Phoebe Bridgers' uppity aunt who owns a classic six on the Upper East Side and likes to tend to her zinnias and tomatoes on her private roof deck. While Princess Rhaenys Targaryen (Eve Best) isn't very close in age to Bridgers, I could see them both landing on the same family tree in some form.

Now this one's basically just for the hair alone. Also, while I'm here: Queen Aemma Arryn—girl, you deserved better.

I didn't attend beauty school and have zero professional knowledge about hair other than the fact that it grows, but Aemma's (Sian Brooke) hairstyle really nailed the certain je ne sais quoi of Phoebe Bridgers' hair. And yes, I hate that I just had to use "je ne sais quoi" in a sentence.

First off, the color itself is dead-on, as it's teetering between Gandalfian White and a 1996 Gwen Stefani. Then, of course, we've got the texture, which is both semi-straight and airy, along with how it sits on her shoulders looking effortless yet not lifeless, much like Bridgers'. Basically, all Aemma needs to do is chop off a few inches of her hair, de-age about 15 years, and throw on a skeleton suit.

Rhaenyra Targaryen (Emma D'Arcy) is like Phoebe Bridgers if she went on a casual hike, got extremely lost, ended up becoming stranded in the mountains for six months, and then came back looking both weathered and effortlessly beautiful. And that coat she's wearing? Yeah, she somehow fashioned it out of vegan fur and leather—in the wilderness.

This is Phoebe Bridgers.

Not only is this outfit something that she would completely wear on stage, but it's just the whole thing. If Phoebe needed to phone it in one night and call in a body double, I'd hope that the person on the other end of that call was Milly Alcock. Not only is Phoebe Bridgers probably capable of flying around on a dragon, but if Milly Alcock slapped on some Doc Martens and a graphic tee, I don't think anyone would blink an eye if she appeared on stage with a guitar.
