Is there much that needs to be said about Secret Invasion? The show that cost Marvel over $200 million because of reshoots and recastings was an absolute mess. The whole show was a CGI nightmare that honestly put a significant stain on the MCU in my humble opinion. If this is a sign of future things to come for Marvel, then the dark ages may be upon us.

Marvel's Iron Fist was a show that was destined to fail from its launch. A show that was littered with production issues and a main character who seemed like he just genuinely didn't want to be there, there is not much to offer with Iron Fist. It should be no surprise that there has been no mention of bringing this character back into the MCU.

Inhumans is one of Marvels most infamous flops when it comes to shows. What could have been a staple in the MCU instead is a stain on the legacy of a great franchise. A large part of this show failing was the production budget just not being there. Without the proper funding or direction the show was just a mess.

The Falcon and the Winter Soldier was supposed to serve as Falcon's transition to manning the shield and becoming Captain America. The only issue? The main plotline of the show had to be rewritten right before the show was set to be released. Originally, the plot was supposed to follow Falcon and Winter Soldier stopping a bioterrorist from releasing a chemical that would start a global pandemic. Well, an actual global pandemic happened and Disney must have felt it was insensitive so pivoted to a new plotline that for the most part made no sense.

Helstrom introduces us to the characters Daimon and Ana Helstrom, children of a super powerful serial killer. The siblings use their powers to fight the darkest corners of the world, which should sound exciting but the show falls short. To put it simply, the show is just boring.

Marvel's The Defenders is one of the more polarizing shows that the franchise has put out. Some fans will tell you they love it and others will tell you they hate it. In my opinion, the show is just too ambitious for its own good. Bringing Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, and Iron Fist together should've been great, but something just didn't click here.

Runaways introduces us to six kids who discover that their parents aren't all they're cracked up to be. After finding their dark secrets, the kids have to make a difficult decision involving their parents. The show really peaked in its final season which is why it earns a higher spot on the list of the best marvel shows.

While most of the Marvel shows take place in the MCU or broader spinoff characters, The Gifted instead focuses on the X-Men universe. The show follows a family navigating a world in which they find out their son is a mutant. What makes this show great is showing us what it's like for a mutant in the X-Men universe to survive and navigate after discovering their powers.

Legion focused on David Haller, played by Dan Stevens, who is a mutant diagnosed with schizophrenia. David discovers that his mental illness might be more than it seems and that he possesses incredible psychic abilities. This show sticks out among Marvel shows because of its incredibly beautiful visual effects at times, and an overall great three season arc.

Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D was the first TV show launched in the MCU and was a fan favorite for many years. Following the boots on the ground day-to-day agents that we see sporadically in the MCU, this show gave us incredible insight into the MCU while building upon what already existed. The final season is also a masterpiece that give us a perfect farewell to the series.

She-Hulk: Attorney at Law is probably the most polarizing show in the MCU. Some fans will tell you it’s a masterpiece, and others will tell you it’s the worst piece of content to exist. One knock on the show was the constant meta references and breaking of the fourth wall, but that is exactly how She-Hulk acts in the comics, making this a pretty accurate comic-book adaptation. I still am not sure how I feel about this show's finale but for the Daredevil cameos alone, this show is great.

Echo is a Disney+ spinoff following the character Maya Lopez, who was first introduced in Hawkeye. She has one of the most compelling stories in the MCU, losing her mother and father and joining Kingpin, only to find out it was Kingpin who killed her parents. Echo gives us more insight into the character and what side she might be fighting on in the future. This series was notably hailed for taking a step away from the more kid friendly Marvel programming for a darker more graphic tone.

Luke Cage is another Netflix Marvel show that was too good for its own right. Following a fan favorite hero with super strength and impenetrable skin, Luke Cage delivers action scene after action scene that is top notch for Marvel shows. This was another show to sadly be cancelled due to Disney moving in a different direction with the MCU and cutting out Netflix.

When it was announced Oscar Isaac and Ethan Hawke would star in a Disney+ Marvel show, fans rightfully got excited. While Moon Knight did deliver an entertaining first season with great acting and CGI (for Marvel's standards) there was something missing with the conclusion of this first season. Although there is no confirmed season two, we know through leaks that a second season will be coming down the pipeline in the future which could bump Moon Knight even higher on the list of best Marvel TV shows.

Hawkeye has always been a seminal character in the MCU, but has never truly gotten his moment of fame aside from bringing the Avengers to his safe house in Avengers: Age of Ultron. This series not only helped build out Hawkeye's character arc, but introduced us to the incredibly talented Hailee Steinfeld as Kate Bishop. There has been no official statement on if the show will get a season two, but we can always hope!

Ms. Marvel introduces us to Kamala Khan, a die-hard superhero fan who ends up getting powers herself. Although this is the most kid friendly Marvel show, it serves for a lot of fanfare and helps build up for the future of the MCU. It’s been rumored for a while that the MCU is setting up for a ‘Young Avengers’ film or show and Kamala Khan serves as one of those most important characters.

Maybe I just have a soft spot for Peggy Carter, but there is something about Agent Carter that just distances itself from so many other Marvel shows. The show gives us an intimate look into what Peggy Carters life looked like after Captain America went under the ice. Thankfully we've gotten more of her in the what-if series.

What-if is far from Marvels most popular show, but for comic book nerds this show is an absolute gem. The premise of the show is to take a major or minor plot line in the MCU and ask, what if it was completely different? From Ultron beating the Avengers to Peggy Carter becoming Captain America, this show is unbelievably awesome.

The first few episodes of Wandavision were a whirlwind of confusion to say the least. Set after the events of End Game, we are thrown into a town where Wanda lives happily with Vision and her two kids. Slowly the mystery of this town and what happened to Wanda unravel, and we discover the true nature of what's going on.

This show was a notable success for how much hype there was in between each episode, with fans eagerly awaiting the next episode (These episodes would premier at 3 am on Wednesdays and yes I would stay up to watch them right when they were released). Wandavision was also an excellent set up for Dr.Strange: Multiverse of Madness, where we see Wanda with her full powers.

Jessica Jones is one of the most complete Marvel shows. From character arcs, to acting, to action sequences, the show simply nails it. Krysten Ritter embodies the abilities and backstory of Jessica Jones so well, she truly shines throughout the series.

Critics may not like The Punisher, but it is a gem in the slew of Marvel shows. The Punisher gives us the always great Jon Bernthal, as this is Marvels darkest and grittiest show to date. The Punisher consistently delivers the best hand to hand fighting sequences in Marvel and always gave us so many great memes like Jon Bernthal screaming at the dinner table. Sadly this was another show cut short due to Disney pulling the rights of the character from Netflix.

Although Daredevil predates the inception of the Disney+ streaming service, this show is still relevant to the MCU. Starring Charlie Cox as Daredevil, this is one of Marvel's darker shows. Daredevil is hailed for its intense fighting sequences and top-notch storyline. This also introduced us to Vincent D’Onofrio as KingPin who does an exceptional job portraying the character. The show was sadly canceled as Disney revoked Netflix's rights to use the character.

I would argue that there is not a single piece of superhero content that exists, TV show or movie, that gives us as complete a character arc as Loki does. We have been watching Tom Hiddleston play the role of Loki since 2011 and for the better part of that time he’s been a hated villain.

What we see in two seasons of Loki is a complete 360 from our first introduction to the character in Thor. We also get an incredibly funny performance from Owen Wilson as Mobius and Sophia Di Martino as a Loki variant. This is far and away not only the best Marvel TV show, but maybe one of the best pieces of superhero content to ever be created.
