Tom Cruise Gets Banged and Bruised Up in New 'Mission: Impossible-Dead Reckoning Part One' Trailer

Tom Cruise running, jumping, ducking, dodging, and fighting again as Ethan Hunt? Say no more. You had to know this was coming soon with a premiere date July 12, 2023, but we just for the first Mission Impossible 7 trailer; the full name of the film is Mission: Impossible Dead Reckoning and expectedly filled with action as Hunt takes on a challenge unlike any other he has faced thus far. The seventh installment of the beloved Mission Impossible franchise, this first look already tell us that Ethan "is not going to be able to escape the past."

The clip features glimpses of familiar faces that fans of the series will instantly recognize as Hunt gets told this is a mission that's going to cost him dearly. What exactly that means? We don't know. What we do know, however, is that Ethan Hunt will be kicking butt, there's going to be some sort of desert battle that involves horses, and that "war is coming." Oh, and there's a high speed chase that involves some traffic swerving, there's a knife fight that happens on top of a moving train, and Ethan Hunt is going to speed off a cliff at some point.

Christopher McQuarrie serves as the director for this film, extending his relationship with Cruise, who also serves as one of the producers of the film. Rebecca Ferguson, Hayley Atwell, Esai Morales, Pom Klementieff, and more will also be a part of the cast.

Mission: Impossible Dead Reckoning hits theaters July 12.
