Everything We Know About 'Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse': Release Date, Trailer, Cast, and More

Barring anything major, Across the Spider-Verse will hit theaters on June 2nd, 2023. The film will be distributed through Sony Pictures.

The Across the Spider-Verse cast is jam packed with easily recognizable names such as Hailee Steinfield starring as Ghost-Spider, and Shameik Moore as Miles Morales once again. Daniel Kaluuya will voice Spider-Punk Hobart “Hobbie” Brown who is one Gwen’s best friends, Jake Johnson will voice Peter Parker, and Issa Rae will take on a pregnant Jessica Drew aka Spider-Woman amongst others.

Things pick up a year after Into the Spider-Verse, and things have changed. Gwen has since joined the Spider Society, and Miles joins after some prompting from Gwen. A new villain has made its way onto the scene threatening the multiverse, which in turn causes Miles to clash against the Spider Society. Now Miles has to battle against the villain and his fellow Society members in order to protect the things he loves most.

Phil Lord is back as a co-writer and producer, with Christopher Miller and David Callaham joining him. On the opposite end, there are three directors for Across the Spider-Verse: Kemp Powers, Joaquim Dos Santos, and Justin K. Thompson.

Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse is tentatively scheduled for March 29, 2024 which is actually less than a year away, so we won’t have to wait too long. There’s also going to be a Spider-Women spin-off that will see Steinfeld’s Gwen, Rae’s Spider-Woman, and Spider-themed hero Silk all together. Get your popcorn ready.
