Who doesn't want to wander around a convention center surrounded by niche Star Wars characters and be reprimanded by various types of stormtroopers?

Timed perfectly with the premiere of Obi-Wan Kenobi on May 27, Star Wars Celebration kicks off its events on May 26 at the Anaheim Convention Center in California, heading straight into Memorial Day Weekend and closing up shop on May 29.

Obviously at top billing for the guests who will be stopping by for panels this weekend is our Obi-Wan himself, Ewan McGregor.

In addition to McGregor, there will be quite a few familiar faces, including Giancarlo Esposito (who plays Moff Gideon on The Mandalorian), Rupert Friend (The Grand Inquisitor in Obi-Wan Kenobi), Anthony Daniels (C-3P0), Billie Lourd (Lieutenant Connix), Katee Sackhoff (Bo-Katan Kryze), Ian McDiarmid (Emperor Palpatine), Carl Weathers (Greef Karga), Emily Swallow (The Armorer), Kelly Marie Tran (Rose Tico), and Temuera Morrison (Boba Fett).

On top of those more well-known faces, there will also be tons of other panel guests, like voice actors from the movies and shows, Star Wars authors and researchers, as well as those who were involved in the production side of Star Wars.

Star Wars Celebration doesn't just start and end with its guest panels—the whole convention center is loaded with other events to keep fans going for the entire weekend.

For one, the celebration is jam-packed with exhibitors who have come well-prepared with all the Star Wars goods you could ever possibly want or need. The Van Gogh Darth Vader helmet shown above? Neeeeeed.

One of the biggest draws to Star Wars Celebration is the ability to dress up and walk among other cosplayers, which all culminate with the Cosplay Competition on May 28. Also, someone better show up to the celebration dressed as Max Rebo.

Not only can you get a Star Wars tattoo during the celebration from one of the 28 different artists, but afterward, you can enter it into the Tattoo Competition to see where it lines up against other tattoo-ees.

For K-12 students, there's a Droid Builders Academy that combines STEM/STEAM learning with Star Wars, allowing kids to both take classes and tackle mini projects on their own. There'll also be a kids stage where younger fans can learn how to draw Star Wars characters, meet droids, try out Star Wars origami, and tons more. To keep the art going, the Star Wars Celebration Art Show will feature tons of artists and will allow those who pre-ordered specific pieces to finally pick them up in person.

And lastly, we've got the pin trading program with over 50 pins to collect during the celebration, featuring Star Wars characters small and large from Jabba the Hutt to Plo Koon.
