Okay so we already know that this year is the 50th anniversary of hip-hop, but it’s also Women’s History Month. So what if we told you that PUMA has a new collection to celebrate both?
The second edition of June Ambrose’s Keeping Score” collection debuts this week, and like we just said, it’s right on time for the celebration of Women’s History Month and the 50th anniversary of hip hop. June’s inspiration for the Keeping Score collection comes directly from her career in hip hop and reflects on the generations of women who paved the way before her. June’s impact on merging the worlds of hip-hop and fashion is undeniable and the dominance of streetwear, the influx of hip-hop in high fashion campaigns, and sneaker culture can all be traced back to the template that Ambrose created in the 1990s.
