Just in time for NBA All-Star Weekend, Converse is dropping a new sneaker featuring Shai Gilgeous-Alexander that will have you looking clean and fresh. With the NBA superstar having already established himself as hands down one of the most stylish players in the league, it’s no surprise that there are many out there that have been looking to recreate some of his finest fits. Today, Converse and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander teamed up to announce the All Star Construct, an interesting variation on a classic sillhouette.

Just like how the cool and crafty fifth-year player plays on the court, these kicks are all about versatility off the court. In the lookbook, the king of tunnel and Instagram fits shows off his all-encompassing fashion sense, as well as this silhouette’s ultimate wearability.

This brand new Chuck Taylor All Star Construct that Shai can be seen rocking in different environments is slam dunk ready from colorful fits asking to be seen courtside, to an elevated getup at an iconic OKC landmark. Shai shows us plenty of different ways to wear the newest shoe from Converse, which is set to release on February 9th.

As always, Converse continues to reinvent their timeless products with silhouettes that display the Chuck Taylor DNA, while still having fresh and distinct looks. the Construct stays true to classic chuck heritage elements like the classic pinstripes, toe cap, and toe bumper, and but offers new features too, like a reimagined outsole inspired by ‘80s court styles, decorative stitching throughout the canvas, and a rubber cage at the forefront for durability.

Additional features include the All Star patch, pinstripe, toe cap, and rubber foxing tape at the forefoot, along with decorative stitching that is applied to the reinforced canvas upper of the silhouette creating pattern breaks that will allow for new material and color applications. The Chuck Taylor All Star Construct will be available in three colorways beginning February 9 on Converse.com for $85.
