We love sneakers. From the latest collaborations to retro kicks that bring you back to your first pair, we know that feeling when you open the box and inhale that brand-new smell. So we’re rounding up the best and most highly anticipated sneakers every week. Let’s get started.

We finally made it February, which means that we’re only days away from All-Star Weekend in Chicago. The brands are undoubtedly going to be dropping lots of heat in the Windy City. But before we get there, February’s first weekly roundup is worth appreciating. From a vintage Nike Dunk to the Air Jordan 1 returning in its original high cut, this week is a fire start to the second month of 2020.

Take a look at this week’s upcoming release. Be sure to tune in next week for more heat.

Nike’s React technology has become a fan favorite. The undeniable comfort—it feels like a mattress while also propelling you forward like a springboard—is the perfect combination from the Swoosh.

The Nike React line now gets a futuristic look with the Nike React Vision. While some of the elements remain the same, an extended heel cup and a redesigned upper don the new silhouette.

The shoe is introduced in all-white combined with hints of gold and brown on the “Honeycomb” iteration. Be sure to get your hands on Nike’s newest silhouette, as the pair will be the perfect everyday shoe.

2. Nike Dunk Low “Plum”

Back in 2001, Nike released the Nike Dunk Low “Plum” at the height of the Nike Dunk craze. Nearly two decades later, the classic comes back to retailers.

The shoe features a premium suede upper that pops, with plum and deep red combination. Whether or not you’re a Dunk fan, the craftsmanship that went into this pair is worth celebrating. The white midsole provides the perfect contrast to make the “Plum” colorway stand out.

3. Nike Flight 89

The Nike Flight 89 went from a basketball performance silhouette to a fashion statement, thanks to Kanye West rocking the silhouette many times. Now, the Nike Flight 89 makes its appearance this month with a spooky makeover.

Masked in an all-black upper, the pair features a hint of orange and green for a colorful pop. Plus, the spiderweb-like detailing on the Swoosh and lace keeper really gives the pair its character.

While we’re months away from Halloween, you can never be too early on some scary heat.

4. Air Jordan 1 Hi 85 “Varsity Red”

The Air Jordan 1 is coming back in its original cut.

Back in 1985, Nike and Michael Jordan shattered the world of basketball and sneakers with the introduction of the Air Jordan 1. Peter Moore designed what would become one of the most iconic silhouettes that transcended sports, streetwear and fashion.

Ahead of All-Star Weekend, which is returning to Chicago for the first time since 1988, Jordan Brand is going back to its roots with the upcoming Air Jordan 1 Hi 85 “Varsity Red.”

Reminiscent of the “Bred” iteration, the upcoming color features a switch-up on the black and red colorway. The pair is already a classic, with only 23,000 being made available this weekend.

The shoe also features two dust bags and an OG trading card. You definitely don't want to miss this one.

5. Strangelove x Nike SB Dunk Low

The Californian skate shop Strangelove is recreating the Nike SB Dunk Low with its own flair.

From its suede upper to its velour inline, the pair is all about quality. The pink, white and red color scheme is great for those looking to get a pair for their significant other or simply wanting to celebrate Valentine’s Day.

The pair also features a translucent outsole dipped in pink and filled with hearts. As Nike Dunk and Nike SB Dunks are coming back, this Strangelove collab is an absolute must to add to the collection.
