PANGAIA and Timberland Are Reinventing the Classic Timberland Boot

We’ve got a very cool announcement coming from the land of Timberland today, and trust us when we say it’s one that you won’t want to miss out on. Launching today, PANGAIA, the materials science company, is revealing its first-ever collaboration with Timberland. Dubbed the PANGAIA X Timberland Footwear Capsule Collection, this capsule reimagines the iconic Timberland boot, reflecting on the shared values of both brands.

As a materials science company rooted in purpose and innovation, PANGAIA has become known for partnering with like-minded changemakers  and disruptors across multiple industries. The synergies between PANGAIA and Timberland reflect a shared mission to inspire and equip a new generation to step outside, work hard together, and move the world forward.

Both PANGAIA and Timberland worked very hard on this capsule together, which is designed with nature in mind.

Here are the deets.

The PANGAIA x Timberland footwear capsule combines natural materials, bold colors, and iconic style, reimagining the classic 6-inch boot and a mule, both offered in men’s and women’s size. This updated version of the PANGAIA x Timberland 6-Inch Boot features a cleaner aesthetic with subtle flaps covering the eyelets and tonal outsoles, offering a fresh modern take on the classic boot.

Renewable materials such as responsibly grown rubber, acaba plant fiber and organically grown cotton accompany the boot, with styles being available in the signature PANGAIA colors, Galaxy Pink and Palm Green, as well as Timberland’s signature Wheat.

Next up is the PANGAIA x Timberland D4C Mule, an exclusive style for Timberland that is specifically designed for circularity, incorporating Timberland’s Timberloop design process. Both the outsole and the inner bootie/webbing system are engineered to be easily disassembled at the end of the shoe’s life. Even cooler is Timberland’s initiative to ask its customers to send back the product once it's no longer in use, so its parts can be put into their proper recycling stream toward a second life.

Once again, beginning today,  the Timberland x PANGAIA Premium Fabric 6-Inch Boot will be available in three colorways - Galaxy Pink, Palm Green, and Wheat on PANGAIA.com, timberland.com, and select Timberlandstores globally, along with the Timberland  x PANGAIA Fabric Slip-On Mule.
