Tyler Herro is having an incredible 2021-2022 season, and he’s been doing it in style. Known for his epic sense of fashion, it’s certainly no surprise whatsoever that Hudson Jeans tapped the superstar to be the face of their brand. Announcing a new exciting collaboration that just recently dropped, Hudson Jeans and Herro just released their first of many collections that we will be getting over the course of these next two years, as Herro signed a long-term deal with the brand to appear in advertising and marketing collateral.
ONE37pm Talks to Tyler Herro About His Partnership With Hudson Jeans
Herro’s collection includes three new fits in a total of seven new washes, with some offered in longer inseams targeted toward athletes and taller body types. The silhouettes will consist of both straight legs and a stacked skinny, a personal favorite of Herro’s, with prices ranging from $255 - $275.
We had the opportunity to speak to Herro last week about this first collection, and what we can expect in the near future.
ONE37pm: Congrats on your partnership with Hudson Jeans Tyler! What does it mean to you to be working together on this?
Herro: Appreciate it! It means a lot to me to be able to work with Hudson Jeans. My dad was a huge fan of their jeans growing up, so I have always known about them and knew they were a top denim brand. And everyone knows I love fashion, so for me to be the first pro athlete to partner with the brand and have the ability to create a collection is special.
ONE37pm: This collection is targeted towards athletes and taller individuals. What was the process of selecting the pieces/deciding what you wanted to be included?
Herro: The creative process with Hudson was really cool. I was involved from the start, so I was able to have input on types of fit, washes, and jean names. Being so hands-on throughout the design process was an awesome experience and I gained a lot of insight into how everything works. I’m looking forward to doing it again.
ONE37pm: Now this is more than a collab. It’s actually a two-year partnership where you will be the face of Hudson’s advertising. What else can we expect?
Herro: Yes, it’s a two-year partnership, so we’ve just launched the first collection, and we’ll look to start designing the second collection soon, but in addition to that, Hudson has also put a lot of support behind including me in advertising campaigns.
They actually put up one of the pictures from our shoot on a billboard right across from the arena in Miami – that’s a first for me. I never thought I’d see myself on a billboard. Hudson has been amazing to work with so far, so I’m looking forward to all the work we’ll do together throughout our partnership.
ONE37pm: So we’re gonna see you rocking Hudson Jeans a lot in the pre and post-game fits right?
Herro: Of course! When designing these jeans, I wanted to create a collection that I would be proud to wear and that people would love, so I hope my fans enjoy wearing them as much as I do.
