These 8 Disney Worlds Need to Debut in 'Kingdom Hearts IV'

1. Toon Disney

How have Kingdom Hearts fans not been able to hop and bop around a world that mashes up the locales and characters tied to Disney's best TV cartoons? Kingdom Hearts III missed out on a huge opportunity to let Sora mingle with beloved Disney cartoon icons such as Darkwing Duck, Bonkers, and Kim Possible in a mashup world that contains the most recognizable monuments from the long line of Toon Disney shows.

Could you imagine being able to fight side by side with all the heroic beasts from Gargoyles during a nighttime clash with a whole flood of Heartless? I just need an opportunity to swing my Keyblade around while the mischievous kids from Recess and the lovable explorers from Disney's Adventures of the Gummi Bears cheer me on from the sidelines! I feel like the developers behind Kingdom Hearts IV can get super creative with their approach to crafting this dream world I'm currently requesting.

2. 'Raya and the Last Dragon'

Everything about Raya and the Last Dragon is tailor-made for an amazing world playthrough for Kingdom Hearts IV. Its thematic Southeast Asian elements and focus on a battle-ready princess on the lookout for a fabled dragon go hand in hand with everything you could ever want from an action JRPG. I can already envision Sora, Donald, and Goofy donning some Southeast Asian warrior garb and aiding Raya during her crusade against the Druun within the vast land of Kumandra.

The Kingdom Hearts games have already delved into all the most popular Disney animated films. I think it's about time the latest game in the series bucks that trend by including worlds based on Disney's less talked about animated cinematics. This pick of mine is a clear example of me wanting to see that trend get adopted by the team behind Kingdom Hearts IV.

3. 'The Emperor's New Groove'

The Emperor's New Groove is legit one of the funniest Disney animated movies I've ever seen. I hold it right up there with Finding Nemo, Zootopia, and Big Hero 6. Yes, I love it that much! I'm gonna need a world based on that film that does right by the ancient Peruvian culture that was prevalent throughout each and every part of it. I'd be all that way ready for some fun navigation and combat sequences while Kuzco (in llama form, of course) & Pacha lend me a helping hand. The hilarity that's present in the movie itself has to be represented well here in this highly requested world of mine. Taking on Yzma and Kronk during some sort of final encounter sounds like it'd be a ton of fun if it was made into a reality.

4. 'Encanto'

I'm sure all the gamer parents reading this right now are at their wit's end 'cause their kids have the "We Don't Talk About Bruno" music video on repeat nowadays. If your little ones have seen Encanto, then I'm pretty sure they play that song on a daily basis to the point where you wear earmuffs just so you don't have to hear it once again.

Disney will probably make it clear that Kingdom Hearts IV has to include a world based on the film that has the world going crazy over that one song. The story of Mirabel Madrigal fighting hard to help her magical family members from losing their magic just makes too much sense to me as a playable adventure starring Kingdom Hearts' three main heroes. Having The Madrigals back Sora and the gang up during an all-out melee with the Heartless sounds amazing, right?

5. 'Moana'

Just like Encanto, Moana has an infectious tune attached to it that still has all the younglings going crazy over it. And that song is none other than "You're Welcome." If Disney wants to include a sing-songy section with everyone blaring out the words to that tune, then so be it. But I'm more excited about the prospect of linking up with Moana and Maui to transport a mystical relic to the goddess Te Fiti. Surfing the friendly seas and clearing out the Heartless & the blight troubling Moana's home island with some calculated Keyblade strikes is practically a must in Kingdom Hearts IV. I totally realize Dwayne Johnson isn't going to reprise his voice-acting role in the game, but I've already come to grips with that so it's all good.

6. 'The Princess and the Frog'

I'm trying to hop around a fully realized version of New Orleans in the 1920s in the next Kingdom Hearts! And the one Disney movie I can think of that'll let me do just that is The Princess and the Frog. There's so much Kingdom Hearts IV could do with a world dedicated to all the bright lights and wild sights this movie's version of New Orleans houses. And it'd be great if players got the chance to peruse through the film's swamps as Sora, Donald, and Goofy & fend off those vicious Swamp Gators while Louis plays some party stat-boosting tunes with his trumpet in tow. And of course, the main objective of this world would be to help Tiana and Prince Naveen become human again and eventually defeat the evil Dr. Facilier.

7. Marvel Cinematic Universe

Now, these next two worlds I'm asking for would probably be too much of a tall task for Square Enix to implement in Kingdom Hearts IV. But if Disney wants to push each and every part of its long line of owned properties in this highly anticipated sequel, then it needs to shock the world by posting up a trailer where Sora, Donald, and Goofy are pulling off a group superhero pose with the original members of the MCU's Avengers.

Imagine this wild thought, guys and gals - Sora, Donald, and Goofy decked out in custom superhero attire and zipping around a Marvel Comics-themed version of New York City. I'd be totally fine with this world retelling the events of the first Avengers movie so I can help Hulk beat Loki into the ground with a Keyblade. Or I'd be totally fine with a mishmash of Marvel Heroes coming to aid Sora, Donald, and Goofy against a collective of familiar baddies from the MCU.

8. 'Star Wars'

And now I'm gonna get a bit crazy! Ever since Disney got its hands on the Star Wars IP, I've been visualizing the next Kingdom Hearts taking fans on a journey to a galaxy far, far away. I can see it now - Sora rocking a traditional Jedi robe while Donald and Goofy don the costumes & color schemes associated with R2-D2 and C-3PO.

As far as what this galactic expanse would entail, I'd be perfectly content with it basing its events around the events of Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope. If this world gives me the chance to wield a Lightsaber Keyblade in a duel against Darth Vader and participate in some space battles here & there, then I'd be extremely satisfied with it all. Anything from the second Star Wars trilogy would work so well within the confines of Kingdom Hearts IV.
