It took less than a quarter of an hour for Dušan Vlahović to score on his Juventus debut, and despite everything that's happened to the club over the past six months there's significant reason to be excited in Turin.

It's no exaggeration that Vlahović may already be the best striker in Serie A at the age of 22.

The Serbia international lit it up with Fiorentina after scoring 44 goals for the club in Italy's top flight prior to making the leap to Juventus.

Since the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo last summer, Juve were missing something up front. A spark. A go-to goal scorer.

It may have only been one match, but it's easy to see that Vlahović answers every question about the team's attack with his impressive energy and his knack for scoring goals at will.

Vlahovič opened his Juventus account in the 13th minute on Sunday after a clever, lofted through ball from Paulo Dybala picked out the Serbian striker.

What makes Vlahović so special is his ability to create separation almost instantly and that's exactly what he did as he carefully flicked the ball over Hellas Verona goalkeeper Lorenzo Montipó while running full speed.

It was evident within the first five minutes of the match how active Vlahović can be in the attacking third and what it can do for Juventus after struggling to create regular chances prior to his arrival.

Not only is the 22 year old one of the best with his natural finishing abilities, but his pace makes Juventus more more challenging to defend because he stretches the pitch in different ways.

Additionally, Vlahović is incredibly strong and his hold up play affords his teammates the chance to play off of him when his back is turned from goal.

Vlahović wasn't the only new Juve player to debut on Sunday though.

Midfielder Denis Zakaria made an immediate impact for the Bianconeri and scored in the second half, once again providing a huge lift for a Juve side that hasn't created consistent goal scoring to this point in the season.
