The key is to always remain humble. That’s what Buddy Hield has always represented throughout the course of his career. That’s also why he’s the perfect brand ambassador for STARRY, the new official drink of the NBA, the WNBA, and the NBA G League in North America. Having just broken Reggie Miller’s three-point record, Hield is riding high and enjoying the moment. Capitalizing on the leagues' successful partnership with MTN DEW, STARRY will leverage the platform of the biggest weekend in basketball to make a splash, becoming the title partner of the NBA All-Star 3-Point Contest.

We caught up with Hield to talk about STARRY, his personal style, and…Power Book II.

And what about his drip?

“You know I got these green Michigan Dunks on right at the moment. The paint splattered joggers. Little bit of jewelry, but nothing too much. This is what my style is like on a daily basis.”

“Be Humble,” says Buddy. You’ve got to always be humble in everything you do, it’s really important. I’m really excited to see the kids at this activation tonight!”

Of course, I couldn’t leave the interview without asking Mr. Chill about what his favorite television show is.

“Oh, that’s definitely gotta be a Power Book II! Tariq is a menace (Tariq is very much indeed a menace)!”

And when I tell him I’m still on the first installment of Power his response is…

“You’re Late! You gotta catch up!”

Typical Buddy Hield. You can keep up with all of Buddy's latest updates and announcements through his Instagram.
