The wide and winding Road to WrestleMania XL continues to make headlines thanks to some blockbuster storyline developments. Major moments that are sure to have a huge impact on that event's match card are sure to take place at WWE's latest international PLE. This year, the annual Elimination Chamber event will emanate from the massive Optus Stadium in Perth, Western Australia, Australia. Two Chamber matches will go down here - one to determine who will get a Women's World Championship match at 'Mania XL and one to finalize who will step in at that same event to receive a World Heavyweight Championship opportunity. Before February 24 arrives, allow yours truly to offer up his preview of this upcoming event by breaking down my WWE Elimination Chamber 2024 predictions!

WWE Elimination Chamber 2024: Matches and Predictions
Rhea Ripley (c) vs. Nia Jax
Women's World Championship
Preview & Predictions: "MAMI" IS COMING BACK HOME TO AUSTRALIA! Raw's reining queen of gothic terror and the current holder of the Women's World Championship has been on a tear since besting Charlotte Flair at last year's WrestleMania 39. She's been presented as an unrelenting destroyer who hasn't had many issues with taking down the rest of her opposition on Monday Night Raw. Now Rhea Ripley is being challenged by her toughest foe to date in the form of Nia Jax. With Nia's size and overwhelming strength, WWE is trying to present a scenario where Rhea may not be powerful enough to eliminate someone larger than her. But let's be real here, folks - Rhea's coming in as the champ and will be propelled by the exciting crowd response from her hometown crowd. With all that energy in the building, Rhea will prevail. I just can't see Rhea dropping the belt while on the Road to 'Mania XL to take on someone on a higher tier of superstardom.
Becky Lynch vs. Bianca Belair vs. Liv Morgan vs. Tiffany Stratton vs. Naomi vs. Raquel Rodriguez
Elimination Chamber Match for a Women's World Championship Match at WrestleMania XL
Preview & Predictions: Since the 2024 Women's Royal Rumble winner Bayley has chosen WWE Women's Champion Iyo Sky for a title match at WrestleMania XL, we need another woman who's earned the right to face the Women's World Champion at that same event. The field of contenders for this Women's Elimination Chamber Match is quite strong, I must say - Raquel Rodriguez & Bianca Belair's size & stature make them tough challenges to overcome, Liv Morgan & Tiffany Stratton are wildcard winners, Naomi is hot on the heels of a WWE comeback that makes her more viable these days, and Becky Lynch's top-tier star power presents her as another top pick for the winner here. As I look at this lineup, my mind races immediately to "The Man" being the one who'll leave the Elimination Chamber as the victor. Based on my last matchup prediction, I get the feeling that WWE wants to book a big-time women's matchup between Rhea Ripley and Becky as one of the marquee bouts for the 'Mania XL card.
The Judgment Day (Finn Bálor and Damian Priest) (c) vs. Pete Dunne and Tyler Bate
Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship
Preview & Predictions: Ripley's fellow Judgment Day cohorts Finn Bálor and Damian Priest will also be defending their championship at this event. Thanks to the never-say-die attitude of Pete Dunne and Tyler Bate (SHOUT OUT TO BRITISH STRONG STYLE!), both of those British brutes have earned themselves a shot for the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship. I'm overjoyed to see two of my NXT UK faves make an impact on the main roster as a duo and I'm rooting for them to put on a banger on the major WWE PLE stage. But reality bites and I already know the result of this matchup. Bálor and Priest will cut through their latest foes and most likely hold onto their tag team titles just in time for a marquee matchup at 'Mania XL.
Drew McIntyre vs. Randy Orton vs. Bobby Lashley vs. LA Knight vs. Kevin Owens vs. Logan Paul
Elimination Chamber Match for a World Heavyweight Championship Match at WrestleMania XL
Preview & Predictions: With Cody Rhodes setting his sights on Roman Reigns (after a bit of confusion involving The Rock) for another shot at his Undisputed WWE Universal Championship at WrestleMania XL, someone has to earn the right to challenge a rehabbed Seth "Freakin" Rollins for his World Heavyweight Championship. The best way to find out who'll be that lucky recipient of such a high honor is by throwing the qualifying participants into the dreaded Elimination Chamber. Now to be quite honest, I can look at who's being featured here and quickly predict who has the lowest chance of winning - Bobby Lashley, Kevin Owens, and Logan Paul are the three names that immediately come to mind in that regard.
On the opposite end of the spectrum, Drew McIntyre, Randy Orton, and LA Knight stand out to me as the three men with the most likely chance of winning. When the dust settles on this one, I can see McIntyre emerging as the victor who will head into 'Mania with another chance to relinquish Rollins of his most cherished prize. I'm predicting McIntyre overcoming Orton with a Claymore Kick to solidify his win as a victory well-earned.
