Happy first week of December everybody! We've got a week full of loaded drops as we begin a loaded month of gift shopping for the friends, family members, and acquaintances in our life. Taking the spotlight for this week is a new round of GAP x Dapper Dan, which follows the initial sold-out releases of the DAP GAP hoodies last year, and expands this collection into kids’ clothing, sweatpants, and accessories. Also in the spotlight is a brand new collaboration between adidas and Fear of God, marking the latter's entry into athletic wear. Gap and Dapper Dan’s latest collaboration, which was just announced and will be shoppable on 12/5 at 12pm ET. The 18-piece capsule collection includes graphic hoodies boldly featuring “Harlem” with the DAP logo, matching pleated logo sweatpants, a printed tote bag with clutch insert, baseball hats, socks, and a logo ascot. Corresponding with the drop, the DAP GAP campaign represents a visual bridge where Harlem and Gap meet. Told through a multigenerational cast of Harlem legends and next generation changemakers, the campaign also includes a one-minute film featuring Dap’s powerful love letter to Harlem.  

In honor of Giving Tuesday and this collection drop, Gap is giving back to the youth with a $100,000 donation to The Brotherhood Sister Sol, a Black-led social justice and youth development nonprofit organization based in Harlem.The DAP GAP capsule will be available to shop early in Harlem on December 4 at 9:30 a.m. ET and will go live in 13 stores nationwide and on gap.com on December 5 .

2. adidas x Fear of God

The new adidas and Fear of God collection is finally here. The very first time these two are linking, the campaign and new brand extend the preexisting spirit and foundation of Fear of God. Reebok and Eames Office have just announced their third and final collaborative collection in celebration of legendary designers Charles and Ray Eames. This remarkable partnership, dating back to 2021, redefined the boundaries of creativity and set new standards for design and collaboration in the footwear industry. Among the FW23 collection's highlights are the Reebok x Eames Classic Nylon, Instapump Fury 95, and Beatnik Sandal.

Reebok and design studio JJJJound have just announced their next collaborative project, the JJJJound x Reebok Classic Nylon, which will be available beginning December 7. JJJJound’s second iteration of Reebok’s Classic Nylon, showcases the same original materials from its inception while inspired from the color schemes of the first computer rooms launched in the 1980’s with palettes revolving around greys, taupes and beiges.

KENZO and Artistic Director Nigo are partnering with the artist VERDY, who created custom graphics for the House’s Spring/Summer 2024 runway collection, unveiled during the latest Men’s Fashion Week in Paris – VERDY’s motifs were also presented during the brand’s repeat fashion show in Shanghai last July.The collection will be launched at an exclusive KENZO pop-up store on the Champs-Élysées in Paris from December 2nd to December 17th and at 10 Corso Como in Seoul from December 16th to December 26th acting as a symbolic ‘East Meets West’ bridge for the House.

On the menswear side, a short black windbreaker with allover white logo is complemented with a navy knitted jumper and vest – also with an allover white logo. The KENZO x VERDY collection for Women includes a navy knitted jumper, a cardigan and a skirt that feature the ‘KENZO Paris’ allover logo.The KENZO x VERDY Collection will be available exclusively on KENZO.com from December 1st to December 3rd and in KENZO stores worldwide from December 4th.
