KENZO, Marant

What's up everybody! Happy last full week of January to a 2024 that already seems to be flying by we guess. This week we're going to be doing things a little bit different from how our drop lists typically work. As you fashion heads already know, we're currently in the midst of winter Paris Fashion Week (which technically doesn't conclude until tonight/tomorrow depending on when you're reading this), and a lot of major brands showed/unveiled their FW24 collections over the weekend. So we're going to start this week off by providing a glimpse of those respective collections—like the KENZO FW24 show. Then we'll dive into a few current drops to watch this week.

Highlighting our list this week is the aforementioned KENZO FW24 showing, which evolves the Maison’s new elegance established by Artistic Director Nigo through a study of cross-cultural exchange, and Marant's Fall 2024, which sets aside conventional codes to reach spontaneity through warm knits, textured outerwear with boxy  proportions, a selection of more formal pieces, and a unique sense styling. Plus we've got some more as well. Scroll down to check it out.

KENZO

KENZO's Fall-Winter 2024 Women’s and Men’s Collection evolves the Maison’s new elegance established by Artistic Director Nigo through a study of cross-cultural exchange. Infused with the associations of sci-fi-related uniforms through standout pieces like the Kimono Coat, along with introducing a new genderless sneaker founded in 1990s, the KENZO Furoshiki bag, lots of denim staples and more—Nigo is guided in this collection by George Lucas’ use of the samurai films of Akira Kurosawa in the successful creation of the Star Wars universe: an original, complete fantasy culture like no other.

If you need a few current pieces to hold you over, check out KENZO's Year of the Dragon Genderless Cardigan ($534), the KENZO by Verdy Genderless Jogging Trousers ($475), and the KENZO x Hunter Original Wellington Boots ($295).

5. Drôle de Monsieur FW24 Collection

unnamed 7
Drôle de Monsieur

Release Date: TBA

This Fall-Winter 2024 collection is highly symbolic for the founders of Drôle de Monsieur, Dany dos Santos and Maxime Schwab as their founding marked the brand's first ever fashion show, almost exactly 10 years after its birth in the suburbs of Dijon, a provincial town removed from the sound and the fury of the big city life. Drôle de Monsieur’s Fall-Winter 2024 collection is a true alchemy of styles, combining inspirations and eras to bring together sartorial cultures that have always been opposed: the ornamental opulence of the Seventies and Nineties normcore minimalism.

While you might be excited about their FW24 offerings, in the meantime a few of their current options including: the La Veste Nylon Drôle ($445), the La Veste Slogan Esquisse ($280), the
