LOEWE's Pixel Capsule, Devin Booker x Converse and More Drops to Watch This Week

Devin Booker and Converse are linking up for Booker's first Chuck 70s. For those who may not know, Booker has marked Chuck Taylors as his favorite shoe many times, as it’s a mainstay in his tunnel fits. The All-Star's first Chuck 70 features plenty of plenty of design touches by Booker – like an AZ license plate on the heel and the ever-popular monochrome look. The Devin Booker Chuck 70 will be available beginning April 12 on Converse.com and the Nike SNKRS app, and April 13 at Foot Locker and select retail partners.

Bodega and Vans have got a new collaboration coming out called the LX "Mid-Top Modern," which is the latest in their work together. This newest iteration is a take on the very first Bodega x Vans collaboration in 2010 with their Chukka, this time around bringing in new textures and colors. The shoes will be available starting April 14th both online, and at Bodega's Boston and Los Angeles locations on a first come, first served basis.

LOEWE has done it again. Their SS23 Collection defied understanding as models walked in looks that appeared to be blurred per digital editing but were rather a trompe l’oeil representation of the digital image, and now that collection is finally available to shop now. LOEWE's SS23 capsule features pixelated baggy jeans, mini skirts, and jackets to form an entire mind-bending capsule closet. 

Converse and NYC-based skateboarding brand Alltimers have teamed up for their first-ever Converse CONS collaboration. The collection highlights  Alltimers’ signature mix of luxury vibes and back-alley grit, the collaboration features the skateboarding brand’s unique takes on two of Converse’s classic silhouettes: the Fastbreak Pro and One Star Pro.

Toronto-based streetwear label Better Gift Shop and hockey brand Sherwood are releasing a new collaboration. The collection was inspired by the Chinatown neighborhood of Better Gift Shop’s flagship store in downtown Toronto. The lion graphic, seen on the tee and hoodie, is a nod to the Hong Luck Kung Fu Club - a nearby Kung Fu and Lion Dance Club who is a frequent collaborator of the shop.

Items in the collection include a hoodie, jersey, T-shirt, and baseball cap, ranging from $50-$280.

Carhartt WIP’s latest editorial titled Double Take! campaign features garments from the Spring/Summer 2023 women’s collection. The selection explores the brand’s core items, such as the W’ OG Michigan Coat and Pierce Pant Straight, both constructed in robust Dearborn Canvas and this season, rendered in Tamarind brown. Pared-back jersey staples, such as the W' Porter A-shirt and pigment-dyed W' S/S Nelson Grand T-shirt, round out the selection along with the W’ OG Michigan Coat and Pierce Pant Straight, and the W’ L/S Kingston Shirt.

adidas and Y-3 are back with Chapter 2 of their SS23 collection, and it's sick. Exploring the concept of "Technical Effortless," this capsule is inspired by Y-3's legacy of utilitarian workwear garments along with two core elements of their outdoor ready design and functional details. Adsum and Gramicci are coming together for their first capsule collection, which is a nod to both the 1980s and 90s. The collection consists of cargo pants, shell gear shorts, a tulip hat, and an assortment of graphic tees, full zip hoodies, and workshirts.  The graphic tees continue the story with a vintage photograph and the Adsum + Gramicci mountain logo.  The Full Zip hoodie features a cropped and boxy fit referencing their FW22 Waffle Zip Hoodie, and the workshirt is boxy and meant to be worn as an all-season overshirt.

Update: The Adsum team was kind enough to send over a pair of cargo pants from the collection. The pants are very nice quality, and spacious and roomy, while still having a slightly tailored look. Definitely something to add to your pants collection.

ICECREAM, the skate label of Pharrell Williams’ Billionaire Boys Club, is launching a Polo Capsule on April 14th, as a nod to the nostalgic origins of the popular shirt style.

The polo is known to be an ubiquitous fashion piece donned for a variety of casual occasions around the world. Made popular in streetwear and hip-hop culture in the late 90s and early 2000s, the basic polo became a signature of style among professionals and creatives alike. Pharrell Williams adopted the style into his personal looks, and even integrated them into his brand in the early 2000s with pastel striped iterations made by ICECREAM.
