Asics has a great reputation as a strong running brand largely due to its Gel technology. The Nike Space Hippie is the most recent sneaker to feature recyclable materials. Although it seems to be on the heels of Adidas’ ongoing relationship with Parley it’s nice to see Nike doing its part even if it's in retaliation to a competitor. The Space Hippie project features a number of sneakers, 01-04, and a Zoom-based midsole foam supplemented with other materials that the brand used to discard. This reused material makes for a comfortable ride, not to mention it's in the running to set a benchmark for the future of innovative sneaker tech.

Hoka One One is a brand focused on providing the most comfortable and technical runners on the market. The Clifton Edge is just one of their highly engineered silhouettes to deliver such. Li-Ning is probably best known for its relationship with former NBA star Dwyane Wade.
