Lourdes Leon. Sounds like the name of somebody who’s pretty important in the fashion industry huh? If you guessed yes, you guessed correctly. A muse, creative, fashionista, and artist, Lourdes Leon is somebody who sometimes moves quietly, yet makes money moves. And you can expect plenty more of those money moves in the future. Here’s why you should be paying even more attention to Lourdes. Born October 14th, 1996, Lourdes got her start in the fashion industry in the early 2010s, collaborating with Madonna on her Material Girl fashion and beauty line with Macy’s.

While we may not have seen her on the internet, Lourdes was making major strides and connections in the fashion industry behind the scenes. This leads us to her 2018 runway debut.

The then 21-year-old made her runway debut for New York Fashion Week, walking in the Gypsy Sport Runway show wearing a chain bra, ripped jeans, and sneakers. The outfit was accompanied by sunglasses and two green feathers in her hair. Lourdes’ debut was heavily talked about, and quickly led to more high profile gigs with the major fashion houses. Since 2018, the model/artist has walked in numerous shows including:

And if her fast trajectory in fashion wasn’t enough, Lourdes is also an artist, releasing her first single “Lock&Key,” under her musical moniker Lolahol.

So what’s next in the rising career of Lourdes Leon? It seems like we can expect more music, more runway shows, and more campaigns for sure. Maybe there’s also a fashion line of her own one day? While we don’t yet know her future plans, we do know that her next moves will be silent, but powerful.
