If you're anything like me, then Depeche Mode is one of your favorite bands of all time up there with the likes of Aerosmith, Guns 'N Roses, and Metallica to name a few. One of the greatest acts to come out of the 1980s, the band was originally formed in Basildon in 1980 with the members Martin Gore, Andy Fletcher, Dave Gahan, and Vince Clarke, and boy did they create some classics—classics that have successfully passed the test of time. Also boasting one of the most distinctive and iconic sounds in music history (you know them as soon as you hear them), Depeche Mode has the pleasure of being one of the few acts to sell over more than 100 million records worldwide, and be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. In appreciation of their gifts to the world, we've rounded up the best Depeche Mode songs, and have given ourselves the task of ranking them down to what we consider to be number one.

We hope you enjoy reading this as much as we enjoyed putting it together.
