For hip-hop fans who consider themselves in tune, you know who Griselda Records is. The group is leading the charge in the classic hip-hop renaissance right now, and Rome Streetz is one of their brightest shining stars. This morning, Rome Streetz dropped a brand new project executive produced by Westside Gunn, titled KISS THE RING. Across 17 songs, Rome Streetz gives the world a major wake-up call: he's indisputably one of NYC's top talents at the moment, and one of Griselda's too, for that matter.

KISS THE RING has six features, and they all happen to be his Griselda teammates: Conway the Machine, Benny the Butcher, Westside Gunn, Stove God Cooks, Armani Caesar, and Boldy James.

Putting together a successful project is no joke; it's a strenuous process, and is ridiculously hard to make it seamless. Well, this is a prime example of a seamless project. Rome Streetz's trademark sound is on full display, blending into the greater array of Griselda-esque beats from the likes of Conductor, Daringer, Denny LAflare, Green Lantern, Camoflauge Monk, Alchemist, Sovren, and Sadhu (SadhuGold).

If you've already been considering yourself a Griselda fan, this album will only make you more of one. If you're new to Griselda, then consider this just the beginning of an enormous rabbit hole filled with quality records, all sporting stimulating beats and fundamentally sound raps. It's what they're known for, and they've made it clear that we should all expect the same going forward.

Similar to the difficulty of putting together a relatively perfect project is putting together a star-studded label. Griselda Records and all of its members make it all seem like a walk in the park, but rest assured, it is far from that. Every single artist Griselda has put on has continued its history of creating quality, and have added their own flavor to the mix. Rome Streetz is no exception.
