Who remembers 2008's Minute Men and Corbin Bleu's theme song "Run It Back Again" to go along with it? Minute Men was a neat little film starring Jason Dolley all about time travel with three kids inventing a time machine to help save their peers from embarrassing situations. Basically instead of the embarrassing moment happening (like tripping with your lunch tray), the time machine would allow you to go back and prevent that moment from occurring in the first place. I'm sure we've all got some events where a time machine would have come in handy, but you can't create something like that without there being consequences, and now the Feds are on to them.

We've got to run back Minute Men—it was a fun little movie.

2000's Alley Cats Strike! centered around four teenage with a penchant for causing trouble who are also elite bowlers. The teens gets pushed into the spotlight when an inter-school competition starts garnering a lot of attention around the area, and they get even more eyes on them when the most popular kid in school is forced to become a part of their team. What started as a fun hobby has now become a headline-grabbing competition that the teens have to work their way through. If you enjoy bowling, you'll enjoy watching/rewatching Alley Cats Strike!

A teen horror film in all of it's Disney glory, 1999's Don't Look Under the Bed is about a teenager dealing with the horror of having a boogeyman (gasp) under her bed. Not only that, but the boogeyman is terrorizing the teen in other ways by framing them for the terrible pranks being pulled around the neighborhood. Since we're right on the cusp of Halloween it might be a good time to run this back as well for your Disney Channel Halloween Movie Marathon.

Tru Confessions stars Shia LaBeouf (who was in the midst of his Even Stevens run), Clara Bryant, and Mare Winningham is a film that's all about, well, filmmaking. In it, Bryant portrays a young filmmaker named Tru Walker who decides to enter a filmmaking contest being held by her local television station. Tru definitely has more than enough to document with the dramatics happening within her family, but instead chooses to center the film around her mentally impaired brother (LaBeouf), who's very generous, kind, and enjoys his life to the fullest. Tru Confessions definitely tugs at the heart, so make sure to have a tissue nearby.

A Disney Channel Western, the storytelling can and should be appreciated with Buffalo Dreams as it centers around two teenagers with different racial and cultural backgrounds having to develop an understanding of one another in order to make their friendship work (with some struggles in the beginning). While not on the level of Holes, the holy grail when it comes to Disney Westerns in our opinion, Buffalo Dreams is still a very much an enjoyable flick to watch.

This could be a hot take. While the The Suite Life Movie is a film that you can get enjoyment out of, it didn't live up to what you would have expected a "Suite Life" movie to look like. Perhaps that was because the actual series set such a high bar that the filmcouldn't top it. Maybe it's because Ashley Tisdale (who played Maddie) wasn't present. It could have also been the "twin telepathy leading to danger" storyline that was presented (the series was known for being more "fun"). Don't get us wrong, The Suite Life Movie is still a solid film, just not a top ten or twenty in the Disney Channel catalog in our opinion.

Here's another Halloween Disney Channel movie to add to your lineup—Phantom of the Megaplex, which follows a teenage movie employee Pete Riley who's super excited because there's a new film premiere coming to town that's going to involve some big named celebrities. Cool right? Well...until everything goes as wrong as it can possibly go thanks to a phantom that's haunting the area. It wouldn't be halloween without something that's doing a bit of "haunting" now would it?

Starring A.J. Trauth as Alex Lansing, You Wish! is about a teenager who's so annoyed by his younger brother that he wishes for him to disappear. Alex happens to get a hold of a magic coin that gives him everything he could have ever wanted (including having his annoying younger sibling out of his life) which sounds incredible right? Well, things are going great until Alex realizes that you aren't actually supposed to get everything you want granted to you in the snap of a finger. A good Disney Channel movie with an important lesson for youngsters.

Hey, just because folks are family doesn't mean they automatically get along. In fact, in many cases it's actually the opposite, which is exactly what Horse Sense is about. In the film you had two cousins with completely different personalities that oftentimes cause them to not see eye to eye much. One of the cousins is spoiled beyond belief, leading to him getting to sent to live with...his cousin that he doesn't get along with. Sometimes you just gotta make those changes and work it out.

The Jennie Project is underrated DCOM in our opinion as it doesn't get talked about that much when it comes to a general list of top Disney Channel Movies as a whole. In fact, there's a lot folks who probably don't even remember it. We do though. The Jennie Project is about an 11-year-old boy that bonds with a chimpanzee from Africa who's learning sign language. It's not a top ten or twenty DCOM, but it's still an interesting watch if you give it a chance.

Can you imagine if as a kid/teen your parents came home with not one, not two, not three, but five additional siblings because they unexpectedly got pregnant with quintuplets? That is exactly what the Quints is about—adjusting to a new life with an additional five babies in the house. You've gotta feel for 13-year-old Jaime in this one (Brown)—that is a scenario not for the faint of heart. Cute babies, but not a scenario for the faint of heart.

The title says it all. Megan (Draper) gets the unexpected news that her mom is getting remarried. Joining the family isn't just Megan's new stepfather, but a new stepsister that's rather strange. Strange enough to be described as being from "Planet Weird." Except that's literally the truth. Megan's mom has married a fellow who along with his daughter is actually from another planet. Interesting family dynamic that's for sure.

2001's Hounded saw Tahj Mowry and Shia LaBeouf squaring off against each other with Tahj portraying a 13-year-old who accidentally kidnaps his principal's dog. How you accidentally kidnap a dog we're not quite sure, but it happens in this movie and now the teen not only has to deal with the consequences of the dognapping, but also having to battle a nemesis who has it out for him (LaBeouf). Slightly off topic: Shia and Tahj being so young here is quite funny—it really makes you realize how young we've all gotten (sigh).

By the time Zenon: Z3 rolled around in 2004, the series was admittedly losing the plot. However Z3 is still an enjoyable film for a couple of reasons, the first being Raven returning as Nebula. Now another actress did Nebula in the second Zenon film, which granted made it a little bit confusing as regards to the back and forth of who was actually playing the character. However, Raven was the first and made her role memorable, so it's cool to see her back. That aside, the concept of the Galactic Teen Supreme Contest was an interesting direction because the prior films had been about some sort of real danger present, whereas that wasn't so much the case with this one. It's a nice watch for that reason alone.

Sometimes in life we find ourselves doing one thing when our heart is really in another place. That's the case with Eddie Ogden (Ball) who is a baseball player by day, but really wants to be a chef as his profession. It's the classic case of a parent (in this case Eddie's father) wanting a career path for his child in a way that's sort of vicariously living through him. Luckily for Eddie, he isn't deterred from pursuing a culinary career despite the objection from others, and instead enters a cooking option. Another valuable lesson in prioritizing what makes you happy first and foremost.

Speaking of DCOM's that have a valuable lesson with an inspiring message, 2000's The Color of Friendship brings home a lot of positive themes that anyone of any age can learn from. Based on the true story of Mahree Bok a young White girl who came from a wealthy family and Piper Dellums the daughter of a Black U.S. congressman in D.C., The Color of Friendship tackles on the subject of race relations as Mahree studies abroad for a semester and finds that her host family is Black. Each girl has their own preconceived notions of the other, which is something they have to work through in order to establish a friendship and successfully live together.

The Color of Friendship was critically acclaimed at the time of its release and actually won an Emmy Award. So this is definitely a good one to rewatch or pass down to the younger members in your family.

We were debating whether or not it was too "soon" to put Princess Protection Program on the list, but then we realized it came out in 2009. For some reason the film seems like it came out nine or ten years ago as opposed to fourteen, but perhaps that's just a testament to how well the movie has aged. The storyline of a princess having to stay with a "normal" family upon her kingdom being threatened was a fun one, and of course it's also fun seeing Selena and Demi together as the late 2000s/early 2010s era of Disney was ruled by them and Zendaya. A fun throwback to watch if you are feeling nostalgic for that time period.

Some of choose to express the frustration of enduring high school and its characters through a journal, but we don't actually expect for that journal to actually get read by the entire school. That folks is what 2006's Read It and Weep was about in a nutshell—a teenage girl's journal becoming a bestseller after accidentally getting handed in as a homework assignment. All is well until the teen accidentally outs herself during an interview, which then quickly spirals into her becoming the most hated person in her school once people start putting two and two together. Gotta love Read It and Weep.

Ah. The classic "girls have to impersonate a boy so that way they can be given a shot at something they are automatically written off from because they are a girl," except this time around the subject is teen girl who impersonates her biker brother for a motocross championship race after he breaks his leg right before competition time. It's certainly not easy to impersonate a motocross professional, but the girl is able to do so because she's kind of friggin good. A DCOM classic.

I recently rewatched Cow Belles and came away with a new appreciation for the film. Aly & AJ did a good job playing spoiled brats that still had a hint of charm to them, and it was nice seeing them evolve into compassionate young ladies that actually cared more about just shopping and attending the latest parties as the movie progressed. Cow Belles is also a film with some good lessons in it with the biggest one being that life can change at any moment so you should never take the things that you have for granted.

Who can forget Hatching Pete and the wild adventures of Pete and Cleatis? Pete is an introvert, Cleatis is an extrovert. Pete doesn't have a lot of friends whereas Cleatis is the popular school mascot. Despite how different the two are, there are some common shared interests between them, which is why Pete is able to take over the mascot job once Cleatis finds out he's allergic to his suit. The movie itself is kind of silly, but that's what DCOM's are sometimes—enjoyable silliness.

You can't top Johnny Tsunami in our book, but Johnny Kapahala: Back on Board is an adequate sequel that sees Johnny Kapahala (Baker) back in Hawaii to attend his grandfather's wedding and catch some waves of course. What's supposed to be a fun trip turns slightly sour, however, when Johnny and his 12-year-old uncle end up getting into a rivalry over boarding shops. It's just something about those uncles/aunts that are younger than you—they forget that it's actually you that's the elder. You gotta keep them in their place.

Starring Aly Michalka and Johnny Pacar, 2005's Now You See It… is about a young man named Danny Sinclair (Pacar), who's one of three finalists in a competition to find the best young magician. Danny captures the attention of a slightly-crazed producer (Michalka) who has all of her bets on him, and is willing to do whatever it takes to ensure that he goes home with the first place crown. Another fun DCOM that some people don't remember.

Based on the book of the same name, A Ring of Endless Light starred Mischa Barton as a 15-year-old in need of some comfort after discovering that her grandfather is dying of leukemia. To cope, she takes solace in the water with a bunch of dolphins where she eventually discovers sinister plans in place to illegally trap and kill them. Knowing this, the teen sets out to come up with a plan that will put an end to all of the illegal activities—and she gets some help along the way of course.

2000s Disney Channel was not complete without Kimberly Possible. It's hard to decide whether I like So the Drama or A Sitch In Time more, but I think So the Drama gets the slight edge because it explores the relationship of Kim and Ron a lot more. If you watched the show, then you know Kim and Ron have been friends/sidekicks since practically birth, but Ron is starting to develop stronger feelings than just friendship for his partner in crime, which is typically how these things go. Do they end up together? Well we're certainly not going to be the ones to spoil it!

In the almost twenty years since the release of The Proud Family Movie, the legendary dance-off they do mid-movie to Afrika Bambaataa's "Looking for the Perfect Beat" has gone viral on social media numerous times. Now get this—imagine seeing that dance break for the first time live in the 2000s. We had no idea that it was coming, and since a lot of us weren't recording during the premiere (we were still using VCR back then), we weren't able to do an instant rewind. That meant we had to watch the movie again the next time it came on so that way we could relive that particular scene. You had to be there...

Imagine being a teenager, turning 13-years-old, and suddenly discovering that you're growing fins and scales because your birthmother is mermaid. Not only that, but you also have the ability to breathe underwater and communicate with the marine life. Becoming a mermaid without any prior notice or expectation is kind of jarring if you ask us (so is the experience of waking up with fins and scales out of nowhere), but the kid seems to handle it alright so give him credit.

Finding out that the home your recently-deceased grandfather used to live in is actually a halfway house for ghosts is the definition of horror and Halloween. Not only that, but these aren't even what you would call "regular ghosts." You see, if these ghosts would like to see Heaven, they need to make up for their sins and redeem themselves on Earth. They constantly find ways to screw that redemption up, but they're ghosts—what do you expect?

Kind of ironic how Frankie Muniz portrays a soap box racer in this film, and has since gone on to become a professional racer as an adult. 2000's Miracle in Lane 2 is an inspiring story about a young boy in a wheelchair who takes up the sport of soap box racing with the mission of winning a trophy. The film itself is based on the life of former soap box racer Justin Yoder, who was the first child with a disability to drive a soap box in the All American Soap Box Derby.

If you liked the 2005 movie Sky High, then you'll enjoy Up, Up, and Away because it was kind of like Sky High before Sky High if you catch our drift. The storyline is similar—a young boy that comes from a family of superheroes and secret identities has yet to get his powers. Since the boy doesn't want to let his family down, that leads to him pretending as though as he has already gotten his gift, which results in some pretty funny consequences. You should check it out if you haven't already.

Remember Pixel Perfect? Starring Spencer Radford and Raviv Ulman from Phil of the Future, the movie is about a guy named Roscoe (Ulman) who creates a popstar hologram to help make his friend Samantha's (Radford) band have success. While the intent was good, the creation of the hologram only leads to jealously and spats between the band and Roscoe, which means he ultimately has to end up making a choice between the hologram and Samantha. And now suddenly we've got "Nothing's Wrong With Me" stuck in our heads.

2005's Go Figure stars Jordan Danger as a 14-year-old budding ice skater named Katelin who's determined to make it in the world of professional skating. Katelin soon discovers that a top skating coach is going to be teaching at an expensive private school nearby, and decides to pursue a scholarship to that school so that way she can be trained by the instructor to reach the next level of her career. And now suddenly we've got Everlife's "Go Figure" stuck in our heads as well.

Personally, this is my favorite in the Halloweentown series, as you can appreciate Return to Halloweentown for being an entertaining film. The Witch U was an interesting concept as it was basically a university for anybody with supernatural power/interest, and there were some funny moments mixed in that made up for the lack of "drama" as opposed to some of the film's predecessors. The movie also received pretty solid ratings at the time of its airing, which is par the course for the Halloweentown films.

We can't forget Rip Girls either, which is about a 13-year-old who discovers the art of surfing while visiting Hawaii for the first time. While the plot seems simple, it's not all fun and surfing games as the teen also discovers family secrets, including the truth about her deceased mother. Not sure what it is completely, but there's something about Rip Girls that captivated us completely as kids when it first aired.

The hype leading up to Twitches Too was real, and it delivered as the sequel dove into the twins in the aftermath of defeating the darkness and learning how to utilize their powers even more. It's always been hard for us to decide which film we like more, Twitches or Twitches Too. We'll probably still give the edge to the secnd film, but the first was pretty darn good as well.

Rewatching Stuck in the Suburbs as an adult is so funny, because you start asking questions like "why didn't Jordan's people just have the cell phone turned off?" Then after Brittany (Panabaker) and Natasha (Song) get into their argument, Natasha just so happens to be waiting in Brittany's room when she gets home to apologize. How did she get in? And let's not even get started on the ending. What was up with that?! If you start asking those questions though you won't enjoy the movie (because it really is one of Disney's best). On a different note, the soundtrack for this film was a banger.

Rewatching Smart House is kind of funny as well because you would have to anticipate that a robot house is probably going to end up turning against you. I certainly don't think they anticipated the house bolting the doors and windows out of jealously, but not sure I would have moved in personally. The idea sounds nice, but it also sounds too good to be true, which is exactly what it was—too good to be true.

Side note: That dance routine to "Slam Junk the Funk" lives rent-free in my head.

Once you get over Wendy Wu's (Song) incredibly superficial attitude and annoyance over not taking Shen's (Koyamada) warnings seriously, Wendy Wu: Homecoming Warrior gets really good. Wendy learns to fight, the battle scenes are epic, her and Shen are really cute together, and the film has some funny moments thrown in there such as Wendy eating potato chips as she's training. I remember Wendy Wu premiering on the either the last day or second-to-last day of the school year, and all us kids were super excited to watch it. This movie definitely got the summer of 06 started off on the right note.

Gotta Kick It Up was pure entertainment from start to finish, and seeing the cheer squad go from those dreadful auditions in the beginning all the way to a seasoned cheer group was super fun to watch. You were rooting for them to win, and felt disappointed when it looked like things weren't going to work out for the team. If you've never seen Gotta Kick It Up, do yourself a favor and watch it immediately.

I often forget that Get a Clue is a DCOM because in hindsight, it was more mature then a lot of the other Disney Channel Original Movies airing at that time. I also think Get a Clue doesn't get nearly enough credit for being a great teen detective movie. You had two teachers that were secretly seeing each other, then they have a nasty breakup witnessed by a student journalist (Lohan) who reports it in the school paper, and shortly after the story runs one of the teachers ends up missing with their car found in the river. Up until the end you really didn't "have a clue" (bad pun intended) who did it as there was a plot twist involved. I think the reason why most people don't include Get a Clue on their best DCOM list is because they fall into the same category as myself—they forget that it was one.

Long live Lee Thompson Young. It would probably do yourself some good to familiar yourself with the Famous Jett Jackson series, but you don't necessarily need to watch the show in order to understand the film, which see Lee Thompson Young as Jett Jackson trying to balance his regular school life with playing an action hero on television. The two worlds get all jumbled together like they always do, but it's fun.

"Get down here Cadet!" Starring Hilary Duff as a teenager that gets enrolled in military school against your wishes, and Christy Carlson Romano as a verbally abusive commanding officer, it's hard not to acknowledge the impact of Cadet Kelly as the film still goes viral to this day. Starring Erik von Detten as Andy "Brink" Brinker, Brink! is about a young skater who only skates for fun and is against the "corporate" monetization elements of the sport. However, when Brink's family falls into some financial trouble, he has to start skating professionally to help them out. Since Brink has always been anti-professional skating and he initially doesn't tell the reason why he's all of a sudden switched up, this leads to him being ostracized in certain communities. A great lesson as to why you shouldn't judge people and get into their business.

Looking back, it's hard to believe it was almost ten years in between this first film and the second. Nonetheless Johnny Tsunami holds as a Disney Channel Original Movie that has withstood the test of basically 25 years at this point. This first movie introduces the character Johnny (Baker) as he trades in his surfboard for skis as he moves from Hawaii to Vermont. The film also stars Lee Thompson Young and Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa.

Zetus Lapetus! This first film in the series, Zenon: Girl of the 21st Century is the best in our opinion with the third being the runner-up. The second film was decent, but the storyline seemed to be a bit forced. There was also the replacement of Raven as Nebula, only for her to come back for the third film, which was confusing. Back to Girl of the 21st Century, this one combined to have all of the perfect elements. An interesting story, futuristic visuals and cute costumes/hairstyles to match, and great music (who can forget "zoom zoom zoom make my heart go boom boom")

• Our favorite song: "Cinderella" - The Cheetah Girls

Hold on, sleep tight, are you ready for a crazy ride? The first Cheetah Girls was so perfect and relatable. From them being four girls from different backgrounds with the goal of being superstar singers. Galleria (Symone) having very strict parents, Chanel's (Bailon) feelings of coming in second to her mom's new boyfriend, Aqua (Williams) having to adjust to living in New York, and Dorinda (Bryan) dealing with the effects of being a foster child. Then you also had Galleria's horrible attitude when the group was on the verge of getting a record deal, and the breakup as a result. There were so many highs and lows, and the music/choreography remains a classic to this day.

And if the first Cheetah Girls was perfect, than its sequel was even better. The Barcelona setting was beautiful, The Cheetah's were even tighter from a harmonies and choreography standpoint, and the songs were even catchier than the first round. There's a reason why millennials are going to the exact filming locations in Barcelona to recreate the "Strut" scene—The Cheetah Girls 2 is iconic.

We're soarin'. Flyin'. There's not a star in heaven that we can't reach." If you don't know these songs by heart, then what are we doing here. I have vivid memories of watching High School Musical for the first time—the trailers didn't do it justice. The film was ten times better than I expected to be from the storylines of each character, to the songs (that still remain in our heads today), to its impact as a whole. High School Musical set the world on fire and created a phenomenon that we have really yet to see be repeated by a Disney movie franchise. A film that made its mark in history.

There's been a debate on social media in recent years over which HSM film was better—1 or 2. In the years since its release, I've realized that High School Musical 2 is the better film (though it's a close call). There was a lot of pressure with how well the first movie performed, and they came out swinging with the sequel. The story was slightly improved upon, the chemistry was even better, and there was more comedy incorporated. It's hard, but we give High School Musical 2 the edge.

Our number one choice might surprise you, but we had to award it to Jump In! starring Corbin Bleu and Keke Palmer. Not only was the movie super entertaining with an amazing soundtrack, all of the cast members had to learn how to double dutch, and if you've ever double dutched before, you already know it's not anything close to being easy. It takes quite a bit of skill and timing, and you have to be in excellent shape cardio-wise. So for them to learn to the level that they did while also incorporating dances—brilliant.
