Meet Victori, the Elvis and Priscilla Presley TikTok Content Creator Who Keeps Going Viral

When I first saw Victori on TikTok, I immediately thought two things. One, that her vintage Elvis and Priscilla Presley content was great (hence why it was going viral), and two, that she bares a striking resemblance to a young Priscilla Presley. If you didn’t know any better, you might actually assume that a picture of Victori is indeed one of Priscilla from the 1960s/1970s, and that is just one of the few reasons why she’s become the perfect ambassador/creator. And what’s crazier is the fact that the biggest inspiration for her content came solely from the release of Elvis the movie.

Aside from her Elvis and Priscilla videos, Victori is also a skilled equestrian with over 386,000 followers on her Equestrian Vibes TikTok account. So it’s pretty safe to say that Victori is quite good at this content creation thing. We checked in with her a few weeks back to hear more about her journey.

ONE37pm: It’s so great to be chatting with you! Okay, let’s first start by having you introduce yourself to our audience?

Victori: Hi there! My name is Victori and I'm a 24-year-old fashion and beauty lover. I've recently been inspired by Elvis and Priscilla Presley's style, and have always loved incorporating different era-inspired pieces into my wardrobe. In addition to my passion for fashion, I'm also an avid equestrian and have been sharing my horseback riding journey on social media for the past 3 years.

Recently, I've started sharing my love of fashion and makeup on TikTok as well. I just got married in April 2022 and have been enjoying exploring my new taste in fashion and sharing my journey online. I'm excited to be interviewed for ONE37 and share more about myself and my passions with all of you. Thank you for having me!

ONE37pm: Nice! Can you give a little background on your individual style and how you came to love fashion in general?

Victori: My style is a bit all over the place, and I blame it on growing up in Florida where I didn't have the chance to experience all four seasons fashion-wise. Most of my youth was spent on the back of a horse or in the ocean, so my wardrobe consisted mainly of bikinis and riding attire. When I was discovering my style as a young adult, my best friend and I were really into 1970s boho hippy fashion. We even started collecting bell bottoms and now I have a whole shelf dedicated to them in my closet.

My love for fashion really blossomed when I gained more confidence in myself and started expressing my true identity. I used to feel like I had to dress and act a certain way to be accepted, but my boyfriend at that time (now my husband) encouraged me to find my own voice and style.

It's been amazing to see how much I've transformed, and fashion has played a big role in that journey. My style is heavily inspired by the late 1960s and 1970s, and I'm particularly drawn to the "Old Florida Aesthetic," which has a coastal vibe with a touch of feminine and timeless 70s flare. I love how this style perfectly captures the laid-back, beachy vibe of Florida, where I grew up. Whether I'm rocking a pair of bell bottoms or a flowy maxi dress, I always try to incorporate elements of this classic, vintage-inspired aesthetic into my outfits.

ONE37pm: A lot of your videos are a tribute to Priscilla and Elvis, but I saw in one of your videos that your account went to the next level after seeing the Elvis movie last year. Is that right?

Victori: Yes, the movie definitely amped it up to the next level. My TikTok account started out as a way to share everyday moments and fun, but it eventually evolved into my journey of studying Elvis and learning about Priscilla Presley. After seeing the movie and being inspired by the actress's outfits as Priscilla, I started researching that era and fell in love with the way Priscilla and Elvis dressed in the 1960s and 1970s. I'm a big fan of their style and try to incorporate vintage, retro elements into my own fashion choices.

ONE37pm: You actually bear a striking resemblance to Priscilla when she was younger. Do you get that a lot?

Victori: Wow, thank you so much for the sweet compliment! It’s been really surprising how often I've been told that a lot recently, and my friends have even started calling me Priscilla Presley when they see me because they feel I resemble her. It's such an honor to even slightly resemble such a beautiful and timeless icon, especially in her younger years. I'm flattered and humbled by the comparison. Thank you again!

ONE37pm: What is it about Elvis and Priscilla that have made you a super fan?

Victori: I'm a big fan of Elvis Presley's music, especially his gospel hits, but my connection to him and Priscilla goes much deeper than that. Their story of mad love and passion really caught my attention, and reading Priscilla's book "Elvis and Me" helped me understand the difficulties in their relationship and her desire to discover her own identity outside of Elvis. I related to this part of Priscilla's story because I've also had experiences of stepping away from a relationship where I didn't feel like myself and needed to figure things out.

I also love that Elvis and Priscilla were both avid horse lovers and that Priscilla is still very active in the horse community today, advocating against horse slaughter and opening a rescue farm for animals. Elvis had an extraordinary life and I'm fascinated by his giving heart and the lifestyle he lived. He's very different from the average star you see today. I also think it's amazing how every Elvis and Priscilla fan I meet has their own story about why they feel a connection to them.

The sense of community among fans is really beautiful, and even after Elvis's passing, there's still a strong sense of community. I respect Priscilla for being her own person and for being an icon for generations, even though she still lives somewhat in the limelight of Elvis's fame. There's a lot of different emotions when it comes to their story and that's why I was drawn to it.

I also have a genuine interest in the fashion and style of the 1960s and 1970s, specifically as it relates to Elvis and Priscilla Presley. They were certainly iconic figures during that time and continue to inspire many people today. I love the bold and vibrant colors that Elvis often wore on stage or the sleek and sophisticated looks that Priscilla favored. It's amazing how the cultural context in which their style emerged, like the influence Elvis had on rock and roll on fashion and the emergence of new materials and fabrics that allowed for more experimental and expressive clothing. It has managed to carry on for generations, leaving a lasting impact in the fashion.

ONE37pm: Now I understand you met Priscilla recently correct? How was that?

Victori: Meeting Priscilla Presley was a highlight of my year and a memory that I will always treasure. I have to admit, I was a bit starstruck when we met and posed for a picture—I could feel my leg shaking. It was such a surreal and amazing experience to meet someone in person who I had read about and admired for so long. Priscilla is a truly kind and genuine person. She was very open and gracious with her time and answers when I had the opportunity to ask her questions about her life with Elvis. She even addressed some personal questions from the audience. Throughout our interaction, I never felt rushed or judged, and I was struck by her gentle and kind spirit. Overall, it was an incredible experience and I feel grateful to have met such a remarkable person.

ONE37pm: You have another account on TikTok called Equestrian Vibes which is pretty successful too right?

Victori: Yes! Which is so crazy to me that I have a TikTok account that is approaching 400k followers, and I am grateful for the opportunity to share my authentic and relatable content with such a large audience. My goal is to create content that is entertaining and relatable, particularly for the equestrian community, and I have received a lot of positive feedback for my humorous skits based on my own experiences as an equestrian.

This success has allowed me to start my own podcast, called Equestrian Vibes Podcast, and I am also interested in eventually starting my own equestrian apparel line. Sharing my journey with my horses and connecting with a community that I love and admire has been a blessing, and I feel honored to be a voice for the everyday equestrian and to challenge stereotypes in the equestrian community.

ONE37pm:  Last but not least, what are your content plans for 2023? Perhaps a trip to Graceland?

Victori: I'm planning to celebrate a couple of special occasions in the coming months, if finances allow. My husband and I are hoping to visit Las Vegas to celebrate our 1 year anniversary, and I'm also looking forward to a trip to Graceland for my birthday in April. I've got some fun content planned for both trips that I'm excited to share, including some bridal-themed looks and a pink Cadillac when we hit the streets of Vegas!

Last but not least, we didn't want to end this interview without a tribute to Lisa Marie Presley as today would have been her birthday. We figured nobody could do a tribute better than Victori, so this segment is in honor of LMP:
