It's funny to think that the shoes that once made us uncomfortable with their style but comfortable on foot are still clogging around the streets to this day. From an outsider's perspective, Crocs jumped right into the competitive footwear industry. On account of being the world's ugliest shoe (along with some select pairs of clogs), Crocs slowly started to make their mark when they toyed with the idea of new colorways, designs, and Jibbitz making the shoes a bit less bizarre and a tad more flavorful. Two decades later, Crocs has continued to prove that they are here for the long haul. Although they will always be known as the "what are those" shoes, it will place no bearing on the brand's bandwidth. To date, Crocs has extended its reach by working directly with big-name brands and artists to produce limited-edition clogs. Today we're going to be taking a look at the best Crocs collabs, ranked.

From brands like Lucky Charms and Hidden Valley Ranch, to Space Jam, to name a few—Crocs has been rolling out the collaborations over these past years, and best of all they now work well with jeans, joggers, and even serve as a fun complimentary piece to your hoodies. Let's take a look at their best collaborations thus far.

The History of Crocs

Crocs were born and raised in Boulder, Colorado, by Lyndon "Duke" Hanson and George Boedecker Jr. Initially, the foam-based shoe was designed as a comfort-driven boating shoe. Sticking to the brand's core, bringing the shoe back to its roots and right to the Sunshine State of Florida was practical. Hanson and Boedecker Jr. debuted the shoe at the Fort Lauderdale Boat Show with only 200 pairs on deck. By the end of the event, they were sold out. Based on the promising response, the Crocs team took it viral as the "look" of the shoe did not affect the value of comfort. What was designed as a single-use boat shoe has now expanded to over 120 variations sold worldwide, a testament to the brand's mission of comfort over style.

Devoted fans of the Crocs brand took it to the extreme when they created a fan-made Crocs Day. October 23rd, most popularly known as Croctober, is a fancied period where Crocs usually announces brand collaborations.

Never say there isn't a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow because if you were able to get your hands on a pair of these, I'd have to say you legitimately struck gold. With luck on your side, Lucky Charms was able to work with Crocs to make a flavorful collaboration “Magically Delicious.” Unfortunately, at this moment, there are no more retail-priced pairs available and can only be purchased on resell sites like Goat or StockX.

15. Hidden Valley Ranch x Crocs

Eating wings? Ranch. Having a pizza? Ranch. Indulging in a salad? Ranch. It’s by no surprise that Hidden Valley Ranch, a staple in everyone’s home (regardless of its form), has made its mark in the fashion industry. Taking a bite into the company's foundation of “spreading ranch love,” it seems proper that a committed brand of comfort and innovation decided to ranch out with Hidden Valley.

Then compare it with designer, Kevin Cricosta’s love for the Golden Age of 70s West Coast Surf. At heart, both of these brands have ties to the big blue sea, making it almost impossible to not work together. Via StockX, you can embrace the Free & Easy way of livin’ too.

An iteration of the Classic Clogs, the Sankuanz x Crocs factor in an extra protective outer shell, which plays a role in both style and comfort. The added component provides extra comfort, shoe protection and emphasizes the streetwear look. Designer, Sankuanz is most remarkably noted for its association with young subculture-inspired pieces and for working with brands like Crocs. The brand launched three different colorways: white, black and lime punch.

After realizing Post Malone’s love for Crocs, it would be interesting to check out his footwear collection. Now on his fifth collaboration with the brand, his long-lasting partnership has us assuming that Malone really loves a food pair or five of Crocs. The newest launched pair is a continuation of the black and blue colorway from the year before. Adhering to a similar scheme and design, the latest shoe factors in branded rivets, lanyard clips and chunky outsoles. Sold in both black and pink colorways.

These clogs are as exclusive as it gets. Only sold at ComplexCon Long Beach, these highly demanded Crocs are in collaboration with renowned artist Takashi Murakami. You can purchase a pair for the sturdy price of $1,895 USD, an indication of the artist's prominence and eccentric work throughout all platforms.

6. Pizzaslime x Crocs

Warning: these are not your ordinary pair of crocs. Anyways, the reality is that no one wants to be known as typical these days, so if anything it gives these epic pairs a leg up amongst the rest. Deployed off the idea of making crocs function in a new way, Pizzaslime designed a crossbody bag out of one croc (not a pair). Following this collaboration, they launched a pair of classic crocs featuring Pizzaslime Jibbitz on a white base, which you can see above.

5. Market (fka Chinatown Market) x Crocs

Just when you thought that Crocs maxed out on all the eccentric collaborations they’ve put forth, you’ve thought wrong. Take a look at the limited edition Chinatown Market x Crocs Dimitri Clog “Barefoot Grass” that was the complete opposite style of the edgy Pleasures pair that was launched before. If you have any interest in snagging a pair and you are a dog owner, beware. With these turf-designed shoes, it would not come as a surprise if your cute fluffy animal mistook it for its own stopping ground.

4. Palace x Crocs

If there was one brand to do it, it would be Palace. Rare, majestic, and highly sophisticated—the jungle camouflage crocs seemingly blend into the mix of the previous work Crocs has forested. They are available in two colors ways, Palace Desert and Palace Camo, with the desert pair featured above.

3. Pleasures x Crocs

In the theme of Croctober, Los Angeles-based streetwear brand Pleasures teamed up with Crocs to mold together a pair of spooktastic Crocs. The Classic “Skelton” Crocs has a white skeleton foot graphic on an all-black base going hand in hand with the brand’s heavy metal, vintage culture vibe.

2. Balenciaga x Crocs

We weren’t lying when we said that the not so trendy Crocs have somehow crept their way into the luxury world of fashion. The acclaimed fashion house, Balenciaga diverged from its customary footwear designs when they teamed up with Crocs. To put their stamp of authenticity on Crocs, the brand created street-styled Rubber Sandals and Men Rain Boots.
