UFC isn’t generally considered amongst the “big four” sports in the US (baseball, basketball, football and hockey), but the audience is growing.

We’re going to look at the top 20 most valuable UFC trading cards, which have also seen growth with the popularity of the sport.

1. Khabib Nurmagomedov 2014 Topps UFC Knockout Autograph Rookie 1/1 PSA 7 – $79,200

2014 Topps UFC Knockout Autographs Khabib Nurmagomedov

To kick (or punch) this list off, we have what appears to be the holy grail of Khabib Nurmagomedov trading cards. This on-card signature from 2014 Topps Knockout is the Dagestan-born brawler’s first licensed autograph. The copy shown above is the elusive 1/1 parallel, making it one of the rarest MMA cards in the world. It last sold for $79,200.

2. Conor McGregor 2017 Topps UFC Chrome Superfractor 1/1 PSA 10 — $73,800

The new record for the most expensive UFC card ever sold was set by this 1/1 Superfractor Conor Mcgregor PSA 10 on February 6th, 2022. Goldin Co. sold the card for $73,800.

McGregor is the most famous UFC fighter with over 40 million followers on social media and he’s been the main event in the top-5 most pay-per-viewed fights all-time for the UFC.

The most popular players of a sport tend to dominate the most valuable trading card sales lists, so this is the first of many McGregor cards that have set records.

3. Khabib Nurmagomedov 2021 Panini Prizm UFC Champion Autograph Black Prizm 1/1 PSA 9 – $47,700

Here is another autograph from the longest-reigning lightweight champ in UFC history. This 1/1 signature also stems from the 2021 set, and it showcases a glimpse of the Eagle donning his championship belt. With Khabib retired from professional fighting, it will be interesting to see if cards like these grow in value over the next few years.

4. Khabib Nurmagomedov 2021 Panini Prizm UFC Black Prizm 1/1 PSA 9 – $37,200

Another black parallel from 2021 Prizm, Khabib’s first Panini card is highlighted with an action shot of the veteran fighter sending his opponent into submission. This is also a rare instance where an athlete has a horizontal Prizm card, which makes this 1/1 piece even more unique.

5. Conor McGregor 2021 Panini Prizm UFC Gold Prizm PSA 10 — $31,800

McGregor’s inaugural Black Prizm has never sold publicly, so this aesthetically pleasing gold Prizm remains his biggest card in the Panini era. In a set where photography is at a premium, the card depicts McGregor’s signature swinging arms warm-up.

6. Khamzat Chimaev 2021 Panini Prizm UFC Gold Prizm /10 Rookie PSA 10 – $30,098

Khamzat Chimaev 2021 Panini Prizm UFC Gold Prizm

Three words: gold Prizm rookie. These are magic words when it comes to the Hobby, especially when that athlete is at the top of their domain. That sentiment would be accurate for Khamzat Chimaew, the Russian/Swedish assassin who has ruled the welterweight and middleweight divisions. This is Khamzat’s biggest card to sell publicly, ending on eBay at over $30,000.

7. Hasbulla Magomedov 2023 Prizm UFC Rookie Superstar Autograph Black Prizm 1/1 PSA 8 – $29,400

2023 Panini Prizm UFC Superstar Autograph Black Prizm Hasbulla Magomedov

On the international scale, few individuals have more notoriety than Hasbulla Magomedov. Hailing from Dagestan, the same republic as Khabib, the Russian social media personality is a renowned MMA fan, so it makes sense to see him in the flagship Prizm product. This 1/1 signature was recently encapsulated by PSA and sold in a June 2023 Goldin auction.

8. Khabib Nurmagomedov 2021 Panini Prizm Gold Prizm /10 PSA 10 – $26,400

Over the last year, few items in the Hobby have performed as well as the Prizm Gold, which is serial numbered to 10. This Khabib from the inaugural 2021 UFC set is in flawless condition, featuring an action shot of the fighting icon mid-round. It has sold for as high as $26,400 via Goldin Auctions.

Khabib Nurmagomedov’s most valuable Select card is his 1/1 Black Disco Prizm from the 2021 UFC set, selling for $24,000 in the fall of 2021 at Goldin. In 2018, he fought and defeated Conor McGregor in a record pay-per-view event for the UFC. McGregor may be the most known UFC fighter but Khabib is not far behind despite being retired.

10. Khabib Nurmagomedov 2022 Prizm UFC Flashback Black Prizm 1/1 PSA 10 – $22,800

2022 Panini Prizm UFC Flashback Black Prizm Khabib Nurmagomedov

Here we have another Prizm 1/1, but this is a unique insert set honoring the inaugural 2012 Prizm design. The aesthetic of that set has remained unmatched, which is why Panini has paid tribute to it in many recent products. That included this Khabib PSA 10 from 2022, a stunning card where the retired champ is holding up how he ranks in the fight game.

T-11. Khamzat Chimaev 2022 Panini Prizm Gold Prizm /10 BGS 9.5 – $20,100

2021 Panini Prizm UFC Khamzat Chimaev Gold

Chimaev doesn't have an autograph in the 2021 set (his rookie year), but this gold parallel signature certainly makes up for it. He has been dominant in his professional career thus far, winning his first 12 bouts with ease. Chimaev’s killer instinct and dominant fighting style have made him a household name, and it’s the reason why cards like these are worth over $20,000.

T-11. Jon Jones 2012 Topps Finest UFC Bloodlines Red Refractor 1/1 BGS 9.5 – $20,100

Also tied at 11, we have arguably the coolest card on the list. We are suckers for old-school Finest refractors, and this one takes the cake. A 1/1 parallel? An American flag background? The “Bones” inscription on the signature? It’s no surprise why this one sold for $6,600 in July 2022.

13. Conor McGregor 2013 Topps UFC Bloodlines Ruby 1st Autograph /8 PSA 7 – $20,000

2013 Topps UFC Bloodlines Conor Mcgregor Ruby Red

Interestingly enough, Notorious’s gold Prizms and Superfractors consistently outsold his rare 1st Topps autograph. This likely speaks to the branding of Prizm and Topps Chrome respectively; nonetheless, this /8 rookie signature is an incredible card for any UFC fan. It sold as high as $20,000 during a 2021 private sale.

14. Jiri Prochazka 2021 Prizm UFC Black Prizm 1/1 Rookie BGS 9.5 – $19,000

2021 Panini Prizm Jiri Prochazka black

A product of Czechia, Jiří Procházka is a former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion. He’s also must-see TV every time he fights, which is why this grail 1/1 Prizm rookie capped off at $19,000. Much of the fighting market depends on player performance, so we will have to see how rare Procházka cards fare if he reclaims the belt anytime soon.

15. Khabib Nurmagomedov 2021 UFC Immaculate Premium Patch Auto /8  — $17,500

Next, we are in awe of this Khabib Nurmagomedov Immaculate Patch Autograph numbered to just 8 copies. The card features a match-worn patch with a red on-card autograph and was sold on eBay for $17,500. There is no “logoman” for MMA, but this UFC logo patch is as close as it gets.

16. Max Holloway 2013 Topps Finest Superfractor Autograph 1/1 BGS 9.5 – $15,352

2013 finest UFC Max Holloway superfractor auto

Max Holloway is another fighter on this list with a wildly impressive track record. He recently TKO’d the Korean Zombie during an August match, notching his 25th professional win. This 2013 Finest superfractor is one of the coolest cards you’ll see across any sport, and the “Blessed” inscription adds a really nice touch. The eBay seller timed this one perfectly, as it sold right after Holloway’s recent bout.

17. Khabib Nurmagomedov 2022 Prizm UFC Black Prizm 1/1 PSA 9 – $14,460

022 Panini Prizm UFC Black Prizm Khabib Nurmagomedov

We have to wonder if the owner of this ‘22 Khabib has the ‘21 copy as well. Regardless, both are grails for MMA card collectors. This second-year copy offers another glimpse of Khabib celebrating after a fight, and it sold for just shy of $15,000 in August of 2022.

18. Ciryl Gane 2021 Prizm UFC Black Prizm 1/1 Rookie – $14,100

ciryl gane panini prizm black

Ciryl Gane is a 33-year-old French heavyweight. While he lacks the flashiness of other names on this list, he has been silently stacking belts and tallies in the win column. This black Prizm 1/1 is undoubtedly Gane’s best card, selling for over $14,000 despite being ungraded.

19. Conor McGregor 2021 Select UFC Concourse Black Prizm 1/1 BGS 9.5 – $13,800

2021 Panini Select UFC Black Prizm Conor McGregor

At 19, we have one more Panini-era card from the face of the fight game. We can likely attribute a large chunk of the UFC’s success to The Notorious, so it’s fitting for him to have many of the most valuable cards for the sport. This 1/1 out of Select has a seamless, regal design, which is accentuated by the Beckett holder. It last sold for $13,800.

20. Conor McGregor 2013 Topps UFC Bloodlines Red Rookie /8 BGS 9.5 – $13,670

Rounding the list off is what many consider to be McGregor’s true rookie card. The 2013 Topps UFC Bloodlines set is unique and unlike the chrome products released today, and this red numbered copy adds an extra layer of appeal. It has sold for as high as $13,670 during a 2021 eBay auction.
