12 Days of Christmas Spotlight: NYC Skate Brand Grand Collection

Grand Collection was founded by our friend Ben Oleynik in 2018 with the launch of its first apparel capsule. In these past four years, the skate brand has become known for releasing some beautifully elevated but easily wearable pieces. In many ways, the collections represent the enigmatic world of NYC skateboarding.

Oleynik himself has adopted a passion for taking silhouettes and pieces that are comfortable for skaters, and then giving them an aesthetic upgrade through the use of nostalgic or semi-unorthodox materials.

We love Grand Co. first and foremost because of their passion for charity. With charity as a constant commitment, the brand regularly gives back to the community, whether it be food fundraisers or an initiative earlier this year where they raised money for Ukraine. As far as style goes, we love the fact that their pieces are mostly garments that would usually be relegated to the world of athletic wear, but with design elements that make them luxury. You can’t beat luxury at an affordable price.

Grand Co. teamed up with END Clothing earlier this month to bring their annual holiday food fundraiser to London. The result of this collaboration were two Grand London tees, which saw 100% percent of the proceeds being donated to feeding Londoners in need.

The Geese of GRAND Tee was also a memorable moment with a really cool design for the Thanksgiving holiday.

The Velour set brought back the early Y2K vibes for sure.

In fact, the Holiday 2022 reveal as a whole was pretty dope.
